I never liked Oatmeal as a kid, it just wasn’t a meal option for us growing up in a traditional Hispanic household. As an adult, I grew to appreciate and love oatmeal when I wanted to lose weight and was told of the benefits of oatmeal. Heart healthy, full of fiber, helps in digestion, etc. I like mine pretty simple cooked in water and then I add a dash of unsweetened almond milk, banana or berries, cinnamon, and a dollop of natural peanut butter for a balanced healthy breakfast.

This really lowers cholesterol!

When the Dr. told me my cholesterol was too high and he wanted to put me on medication, I told him to give me 2 months to lower it myself. So I went home and proceeded to eat the recommended serving size (3/4 c.) every day and my next blood test proved your oatmeal works.....No cholesterol med's for me!

Quaker Oats Winter Warm

Quaker Oats and Grits are the best way to ward off winter's chill; yet still a quick, delicious seasonal breakfast food too. One can add anything to a Quaker cereal and have a healthy, tasteful breakfast. My favorite to add is cinnamon and banana. It's so good. My mother served Quaker, I served Quaker; now that my family is grown, I still have Quaker for breakfast and often, a warm snack before bed that isn't heavy. What I like about Quaker most, is not only it's diversity but also it's lightness... and it's Americana. I have been to the Old Quaker Building in Akron,Ohio ( it's now a Holiday with and numerous, little shops), and just enjoyed going there so much with family and friends. Thank you. M

My go to breakfast every morning. I always add in some walnuts, golden raisins and some dried cranberries. Tad bit of butter and some brown sugar to sweeten it a little. So so yummy and never get tired of it. Recently tried another brand and it was completely nasty. Quaker is my go too!

My container had a hole in it. Oats were coming out. I thought it was just punctured by something in the bag so I used them to make baked oatmeal/fruit bars for my Sons tournament. Mixed in probably $50 dollars worth of other ingredients to find actual mice droppings in the oats. This was literally 1 hour after they were delivered to me. So, your store or warehouse has pest issues. And no one stocking the shelves or picking my order happened to notice the hole with oats spilling out??? Doubtful that it was only my container that had an issue. I’ve never had anything like this happen with a grocery order or store and I’m so grossed out. Thank goodness I realized before I baked these and gave them to an entire wrestling team if 10 year old boys or sold at a bake sale. Very disgusted. Pictures attached.

Nutritious, Easy, and a Good Breakfast Alternative

We have really enjoyed using the recipe we found in the coupon section of our paper recently. We have made the breakfast in a jar using Quaker Old Fashioned Oats, milk, vanilla yogurt, sweetener, and cut fresh fruit. We put this in a quart jar in the refrigerator overnight. It is a great way to get whole grain, cholesterol lowering and good taste in one easy way.

NOW hulls, chaff, container weak & spilling on store shelf, smells like brn sugar added (now posted to ingred),slimy after cooking. STOP WHAT U-R DOING and go back to the OLD product. You must make for other brands as theirs are awful too. Where can I find the awesome kind? I quit buying your brand 2yrs ago and switched to store brand and theirs is following suite.

EWWWW 100s of writhing black bugs in oatmeal

After sitting in my immaculate pantry for about 2 months, I got out the canister of oatmeal, to make cookies. I could see though the semi-opeque lid 100-200 long, thin, shiny, black bugs, writhing, squirming, moving, quickly around the oatmeal. After researching online, I realized it's common for meal worm beetles to lay eggs in the oatmeal factory. This was a horrifying I counter txt continues to affect me dailey

I feel like making

I feel like making oats it’s the easiest breakfast or snack there could be, i usually make overnight oats whenever I’m planning to exercise and I also mix it with other ingredients that help out with my digestion. Personally I do not love it because I’m a very picky person but it’s healthy and easy to make!

Great Healthy Hearty Breakfast

This is the best for making a healthy breakfast that stays with you until lunch time. I am not the typical customer - I usually make about 12 servings at a time, adding lots of fruit, nuts, raisins, spices, and other flavorings to make it really irresistible. The large batches make such an effort much more practical, since I put the oatmeal in the refrigerator, and microwave it as needed. Once made, it's a quick, tasty, and healthy breakfast, and keeps for at least two weeks. Because of the large batches I make, and to save money, I often buy this in the 10 lb box intended for food-service customers because it is a LOT cheaper, per ounce, than buying it in the grocery store.
