The best!

Quaker Old Fashioned Oats is my absolute favorite cereal. It is my go-to breakfast, the one I eat about 5 days a week. I make it different with fruit and sometimes a little swirl of peanut butter. It is also very versatile, and there are many recipes it can be used in. I have been eating these oats since I was a baby. Love them!

Super easy quick oatmeal if you’re someone who is typically in a rush in the mornings. Plus they store easily enough and work great in all types of recipes. Plus it has a pretty great shelf life so even if you aren’t using it as often, it’ll still be good to use next time you need it.

This is an old

This is an old time favorite! I like to make it with milk, vanilla, butter, and brown sugar. I just recently tried steel cut Quaker Oats Old Fashioned while I was on vacation. I had it with fresh banana, strawberries, blueberries, and brown sugar. It was very good. Nothing like having fresh fruit from Hawaii!

So many ways to use it!

I love this as a food basic in my pantry. I add to it for breakfast (raisins, cranberries, chopped apples and pears, chopped walnuts, spoonful of peanut butter and/or applesauce, and both cinnamon and ginger!), and I add it to meal entrees (instead of bread in meat loaves and burgers!)...it is one of my healthiest, loyal go-to and FILLING foods - this 76-year-old has strongly improved her health since she found ways to use it DAILY...

Maggots in Oatmeal

Simply put, my oatmeal had maggots in it. The nest if used by date is Feb 10, 2016. I am very unhappy about this now I am concerned about the other packets I have and must spend 15-20 min sifting through the oatmeal looking for bugs. Worse than that, they don't always show when they're dry.

Eating good leads to a better quality of life.

I find quaker oatmeal very good and delicious especially with sea mossQuaker Oats is a brand of oatmeal that has been around for over 140 years, and it is widely regarded as a healthy and nutritious breakfast option. Oatmeal itself is a whole grain that is high in fiber and has been shown to have a number of health benefits, including reducing cholesterol levels and lowering the risk of heart disease. Quaker Oats come in a variety of flavors and forms, including instant oatmeal, quick oats, and old-fashioned oats. Instant oatmeal is the most convenient since it can be prepared quickly by simply adding boiling water, while quick and old-fashioned oats require a longer cooking time but have a heartier texture. In terms of taste, Quaker Oats has a mild, nutty flavor that is not too sweet or overpowering, making it a versatile breakfast option that can be customized with different toppings, such as fruit, nuts, and honey. Some people may find the texture of oatmeal to be a bit mushy or bland, but this can be improved by cooking it with milk instead of water, adding a pinch of salt, or mixing in some spices like cinnamon or nutmeg. Overall, Quaker Oats is a healthy and convenient breakfast option that can be customized to suit individual tastes and preferences. It is a good source of fiber and other nutrients and can help promote overall health and wellness.

My family Heart Healthy Focus

My family is working towards being Heart Healthy first thing in the morning, by eating Quaker Oats. It is the best of kind of "comfort food" especially when we add food items that extend our enjoyment with the things we do individually do to enhance our tastebuds; I enjoy fruit, nuts, and added grains.

Everyday breakfast, healthy!

This is my everyday breakfast. I don’t really like it at first and just stick to the packets and flavored one, but this is another level. This is plain, you can add milk or water. I like mine with milk and add mangoes as toppings, and just put a little bit of brown sugar. The mango gives a natural sweetness to it. So many ways to prepare oats, you can make overnight oats, bake cookies, granola, or also good for smoothies. Also My friend told me it helped her with milk production, she’s breastfeeding. A healthy breakfast! 10/10

IMPOSSIBLE TO REMOVE RUBBER RING

Although I LOVE the oatmeal this package design is insane. The interior rubber ring which should easily be lifted and removed instead was stuck to the cardboard of the canister. Not only did I almost break a nail was forced to use a knife to lift it while TRYING to separate the two. The end result left a damaged canister because so much of it's cardboard was stuck to the rubber ring...so now the top lid doesn't fit or seal.

Oats have changed

The former “old fashioned” oats took 1 1/2 to 2 minutes in a microwave (per the instructions). The new “old fashioned” oats take 2 1/2 to 3 minutes per the instructions. Seems like a minor change, but microwaving is a hassle now because the contents boil over frequently once they start heating up, so the stove top is the only option.
