We have been buying Quaker old fashioned oats for many years now. My daughter recommended Red Mill oats before but I liked Quaker just as much then. But Quaker old fashioned oatmeal has changed. It doesn`t cook the same. It has a different texture. The pieces of oats are finer and it tastes pasty, like it has flour in it. The first box I bought like that I just thought it was that one box maybe. But it has been box after box.Quaker has changed something. I am no longer pleased with the product. I will be switching brands. I may have to pay a little more but I don`t like this as much as I used to. I'm sure the change was motivated by the economy. And I don`t blame them for trying to save money but unless they change back, I am switching. If they change back I will still buy it, even if the amount in the box is smaller but the price is the same.

I love Quakers Oats, I as a kid liked the minute because it was so fast cooking. Now as a adult I prefer the old fashion. It is so reasonable price. During the Holidays we use Old Fashioned oats for cookies and my favorite the no bake cookies. Sweets a side Oatmeal is fantastic meal energy producing food.

I must agree with all of the negative reviews. We, also. have been using Quaker Old Fashioned Oats for more years than we can count. They always turned out smooth and creamy, whether prepared with water or milk, microwaved or on stove top. This new batch does not turn out this way. The oats are tough and chewy. What happened?? I already spoke to someone via your toll-free phone number yesterday who was very nice. I had no idea that other consumers were having the same negative experience with the product until I went online just now.

Lifelong lover of Quaker Old Fashioned Oats! But something's wrong with the last one we bought: the top won't stay on. We just spilled most of the canister all over our kitchen counter & floor...I hope you can figure out how to get back to a better fitting lid. Thanks!

Oh fashion oats is good for a warm hot breakfast. I like to make it with energy bars and peanut butter, chocolate chips and honey. There’s oatmeal goes way back and is reliable. You can make oatmeal cookies to oatmeal bars to probably an energy drink in your blender. I would definitely recommend it and I would purchase it again.

I love using the old fashioned oats for everything. Adds a good texture to chocolate chip oatmeal cookies and adds body to overnight oats. My toddler loves to eat oats and I know quaker is a well known and respected brand so I have no issues letting him go crazy in the morning.

This Quaker Oats Old Fashioned is a MUST in our household! We can have it for breakfast as a good old oatmeal, make some cookies as a treat or even make cold oats when I crave them! why R-U destroying a once wonderful product? My grandmother (deceased 45yrs)ONLY used this brand. NOW hulls, chaff, container weak & spilling on store shelf, smells like brn sugar added (now posted to ingred),slimy after cooking. STOP WHAT U-R DOING and go back to the OLD product. You must make for other brands as theirs are awful too. Where can I find the awesome kind? I quit buying your brand 2yrs ago and switched to store brand and theirs is following suite.

Almost every day and oatmeal and this have to be my favorite one. There’s so much that comes in one packaging. Nothing about this product needs to be approved and I am always buying it. Friends and family of mine have bought this product because of me. I love it!
