A staple in our house

I have ordered these before and been very satisfied. This time I was disappointed. Upon opening the box, one of the containers of oats was open and oatmeal was everywhere. Not sure what happened, but I will think twice before I order again and it isn't because of the product.

Product is great, packing sub par

The actual product is great. My container, because the box was not packed correctly, suffered damage. The top was bent to the point that it opened up inside the large box it was packed into with the rest of my order. I lost at least 1/3 of the contents.

Something Is Wrong With Oats

I buy and consume a 10 lb box of old fashioned oats every 2-3 months. I have been eating Quaker Oats every morning for 70 years. This the second time I have purchased a box that just doesn’t cook properly. Why???? I cook in water 3 mins in microwave. Water isn’t absorbed and oats are hard.

Old fashioned oatmeal

I have been eating oatmeal for almost 50 years. I have always eaten the old fashioned type. I have been using a different brand for the last couple of years and decided to give Quaker another try. They are very chewy and don’t absorb the water when cooking. I’m not sure if this is a batch problem or a sourcing issue. Which by the way is not available, the label says distributed by Quaker but does not give where the crops are grown. I will be going back to the organically grown oatmeal I have been using and cannot see a good reason to try Quaker again with the lack of quality. I am disappointed and again having to rethink what I purchase and what I eat. Something has changed over the years with Quaker oatmeal.

Part of my daily

Part of my daily food intake. Rolled oats are SO good for you and I've incorporated them into my diet for either breakfast or lunch. These make it so easy and quick to eat, I like to microwave them whereas my fiancé put it in a bowl with fruit and milk and eats it like cereal.

I have distant memories

I have distant memories of my mom holding me on her hip while stirring the Quaker oats. This product brings me straight back to childhood. It's a name you can trust. We always keep it in the house as Instill enjoy a good bowl of oatmeal and my hubby eats bowls a day as a snack. I use it in meatloaf, cookies and tons of other things. Good stuff! #Quaker Oats Old Fashioned #influencer #follow4follow

Heart Healthy portion no longer on package

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I eat Quaker Oats Old Fashioned every morning. I use the Heart Healthy serving 3/4 cup. But I have noticed it is no longer shown on the packaging. Only 1 serving (1/2 Cup) or 2 servings (1-3/4 Cups). Why has this been removed?

Quaker Old Fashioned Oats have a good flavor, easy to prepare, and very affordable. They leave you feeling full and not craving anything afterwards. Oats can be used to make oat flour, granola, muffins, smoothies, desserts..you name it there is a recipe. I would love to see this product at the store in an organic version.

Quaker Oats Winter Warm

Quaker Oats and Grits are the best way to ward off winter's chill; yet still a quick, delicious seasonal breakfast food too. One can add anything to a Quaker cereal and have a healthy, tasteful breakfast. My favorite to add is cinnamon and banana. It's so good. My mother served Quaker, I served Quaker; now that my family is grown, I still have Quaker for breakfast and often, a warm snack before bed that isn't heavy. What I like about Quaker most, is not only it's diversity but also it's lightness... and it's Americana. I have been to the Old Quaker Building in Akron,Ohio ( it's now a Holiday with and numerous, little shops), and just enjoyed going there so much with family and friends. Thank you. M
