[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] David Sunflower Seeds are my favorite brand. I love the saltiness of the shell and the seeds taste so good. They were easy to crack open and remove the seeds. My only con would be that some of the shells were empty and a few tasted charred and burned. Otherwise, they are good!

I associate them to years spent at the youth baseball field with my son; it was the only brand they would eat! They have a nicely salted shell and let's be honest, everyone sucks the salt off first! The shells crack easily with a nice crunch to get that perfectly nutty sunflower seed out. I love that they are American grown seeds too!

I’ve ate David seeds since I was a kid. Once in a while you can expect to get a bad bag but in the past few years it seams that the bad bags outweigh the good. I wonder if the test the product? The bags I’ve had are full of worms which ruin the taste in your mouth. If you’re wondering what that nasty taste is when you get a bad seed it’s most likely a worm that has been roasted in the shell.

I wanted some sunflower seeds from Kroger, and these ones were the only ones available. There were no "lightly salted" or "unsalted" available. The taste of the salt was overwhelming. I couldn't taste anything else, and it was almost painful on my tongue. Not only that, but 1/4 of a cup contains 111% of the sodium a person needs in a whole day. What?

I love David sunflower seeds! They are usually my favorite. I’m so sad that every bag that I have bought within last year 2020-till now taste bad. =( They have a burnt/over cooked taste to them. I no longer enjoy them, and sadly will have to stop purchasing them until things improve and go back to it’s former quality. I hate writing this cause I really love the seeds. Someone please fix this!

The bag has a lousy seal on it! I’m 72 years old and have been eating these FOR YEARS !! The last THREE TIMES I have purchased the original 14.5 oz the sealing doesn’t seal well at all. We all know if the freshness isn’t good NO ONE WANTS THEM. I AM ONE of those that will NOT buy your product again until the sealing is FIXED. I am sure that many others are experiencing the same problem. Sunflower seeds that are stale or fresh. YOU TELL ME

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family loves the jumbo sunflower seeds. They are great for inbetween meals. They satisfy a craving . Love the size of these makes it so much easier to crack to get to the seed. These are great for a lot of things. You can add them to trailmix , have them on road trips , camping , watching sports game , and so many more. It is such a versatile snack .

I'm really glad I checked this page because I bought a packet with the exp May 2021 and more than half of the seeds I've tried to eat are rotten or moldy. Its really disgusting and I can't EVER remember this being an issue and I've been eating David's seeds for 30 years. I'm glad it's only a small bag from a corner store and not a large bag, because I'm not going to sit here and bite open a hundred shells looking for the 2 or three that are good to eat.

The only downside is that it can be a little messy or inconvenient if I'm on the run and can't just carry a cup to spit the shell into. But overall I love them to snack at home or whenever Im on the go.
