It works for those that are just a few ounces as well as those oackages that are pounds. Just what I needed at a reasonable price.

Bought this as a gift for my friend who really needed it. She is so pleased with this gift and says she is using it and enjoying that she gets an accurate weight before deciding how to ship.

It's the second time I've ordered this machine lasted me years. other one i lost in a home fire, so I had to get another. it works and weighs it pretty accurately. i uses 4× AAA batteries

The scale isn’t as precise as I had hoped. The readings seem inconsistent, and it doesn’t quite meet my expectations. It works, but if you’re looking for high accuracy, this might not be the best choice.

This scale is easy to operate. The weight is digital and easy to read. It comes with a chart for the cost of mailing different weighted letters and packages. I would definitely recommend this product.

I've used this scale for over two years. Really like it a lot. Small space. Very accurate. I like that the readout is connected to the actual scale via cord so you it's easier to read the weight. HOWEVER - the AAA batteries it comes with ... they're slightly thinner than normal brand AAA batteries (Duracell, Ray O Vac, etc.). This hasn't been an issue until two days agao when I received a LOW warning signal on the display and it wouldn't work. Went to replace the batter with some Energizer batters (AAA) I have. The compartment does NOT accept normal size AAA batteries unless you REALLY cram them in there. And after I did that, it wouldn't work because the batteries weren't making proper contacts. And, boy, getting the "too big" AAA batteries out ... took an act of God. After about 30 mins ... finally got them out. I figured out a work around. Get AAAA batteries (they're skinnier than AAA batteries). Pull the coils on the ends of each battery contact in the compartment. You can use AAAA batteries - it will work. But we shouldn't have to do this. I prefer using regular brand AAA batteries. But you can't.

When my scale’s batteries failed, I tried to force several sets of batteries from different national manufacturers into the battery compartment. None of them would go in or work properly. My scale is now useless because I cannot find any replacement batteries that will work. My purchase was a waste of my money

The scale itself is TINY: 8" x 6.5" and as such you can't put a large box on it. Also the scale only gives readings in pounds and ounces (or just ounces or kilograms), but not decimal pounds. So you get 2lbs and 8oz instead of 2.5lbs. Might work for some people, but did not work for us.

Loved this scale for 11 months. Then I needed to replace the batteries. None of the American batteries would fit. The Chinese batteries are a tad smaller. My husband forced new batteries in and now the scale is inaccurate. It weighs 4 ounces less on a 6 lb package so I bought the wrong postage

I ordered online. When it arrived, one of the buttons was depressed inside the packaging, making it impossible to switch from lbs to kg. We attempted to return in store. There were none of the same items available in store to exchange, so we asked for a refund. We were told we would only receive a $9 refund, despite having the receipt and being within 2 weeks of the ship date. I WAS able to get a refund online, which I appreciate, but this was an unnecessary hassle. I don’t understand your return policy—this didn’t seem right to me.
