We buy these and repackage them in 1 lb bags for storage in our freezer. Most of our recipes call for 1 lb and it's cheaper in bulk.

Usually I can’t find 80% ground meat. This seemed to be the only one I could find and it’s costs less, taste good!

80/20 fat mix is good for maintaining moisture. As always a good price. Usually separate to 1lb packs and freeze to use as needed.

The 4 lb package of ground beef is better to freeze and use. Same hamburger, just like the 4lb package better

Meat had a good color. Very wet. Cooking the meat shrinks a lot. the moisture content was above average and I had to cook longer than normal to evaporate the water? Poor quality.

I didn't know there was that much difference in ground beef. This roll of 80/20 is the best ground beef I've used. It has a great taste and does not feel as slimy/greasy as other 80/20 I've had. Great product.

This can not be from a beef cow, more like an old dairy cow. Full of gristle, so much it gets stuck in your teeth. Sam's used to carry Excel brand and it was excellent, not this brand they have at the present!!!
