Watch out for tiny bits of bone!

When I want to buy bulk ground beef in a chub this is the best choice for me. I prefer to see the meat instead of the opaque white plastic it comes in from other stores

In the past, these chubs were 12lb. The recent one was about 9.4 lbs. Great meat, not terribly fatty and no gristle. Easy to separate into 1lb packages for future use.

With this option, I can spend $40 and get the components for 5 dinners for my family of 5. If you're in a smaller household, or even living by yourself, you could potentially make this stretch even further. Pretty good quality, too.

We go through one of these a week, in my household. The price of beef was hitting our wallets hard, especially when it’s 90/10. But here comes Sam’s Club for the win again. Thanks to the sheer size, and price, we have stuck with buying this from Sam’s Club for years now.

We typically purchase a 9 lb. package every couple of months and form 1/4 lb. patties that go in the freezer. This gives us flexibility for burgers or using several for ground beef recipes. Flavor is exceptional and the 90% lean results in less waste and healthier eating.

This is the 90/10 leanest I can find. On occasion I can find 93/7. I try to always get lean meats. Use this in casseroles, or any ground beef recipe. When I take a dish to a potluck dinner, I always get asked why mine taste better than theirs. I always ask how lean their meat is which is usually 80/20.

THIS IS THE 4TH ROLL THAT I HAVE BOUGHT OF THE 90% LEAN 10% FAT GROUND BEEF. I PUT ABOUT A 6 INCH LONG CHUNK OF GROUND BEEF IN A SKILLET. PUT ON SALT AND PEPPER AND BROWN WHEN IT DONE YOU HAVE NO GREASE. I COOK ALL OF THE GROUND BEEF AND PUT IT IN THE FREEZER AND USE AS NEEDED. IT HAS A DELICIOUS FLAVOR ALSO YOU COULD MAKE HAMBURGER PATTIES AND FREEZES.
