As a long-time pour-over nerd who used to stand over a Chemex every single morning, the Fellow Aiden has honestly changed my routine. It's the first automatic brewer that doesn't make me feel like I'm compromising on quality for the sake of sleep. What I love most is the "Guided Brew" mode; I just scan the code on a bag of beans, and it handles the finicky temperature shifts and bloom times for me. It's consistent in a way my morning guess work never was.

I bought the Aiden early November and have been able to use it now for almost a month. My wife and I enjoy how it's intuitive and consistent. Literally our only complaint — only 1. Is that we spend all the time dosing out beans, ensuring clean water, and baskets are level etc, but sometimes we forget to check the water reservoir. There is no safe guard based on what batch your brewing that Aiden will tell you “NEED MORE WATER”… I understand this could be based on there are so many variables of brews. But it will just start brewing even if there isn't enough water and ruin a brew if you walk away and come back and forget to check Definitely is a simple fix if weight sensor or something. Otherwise! Amazing product.

Would like to give it 4. 5 stars. The customizable brewing parameters are just about perfectly balanced with ease of use. I would like for the option to first pick the grams of coffee and the recipes figure out the water rather than determining volume of water and being asked to measure out the coffee.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my wife. This replaced a Cuisinart coffee maker my wife's had for years. The GOOD: It is a great looking coffee maker. Looks spectacular on our counter. TONS of customization features. When brewing, no steam escapes to dampen our cabinets. The "Not so Good": It's 10-cup capacity isn't as big as the Cuisinart's 12-cup, and I hear about it every morning... that she can't have one cup of coffee and STILL fill up her Thermos for work. Also, the carafe isn't as insulated as the Cuisinart's carafe is, so, the coffee eventually gets cold after a few hours. Finally, the handle on the filter basket broke for which I put in a warranty claim. I was a little disappointed by that considering how much we paid for the Aiden. Those things aside, I'd still recommend the Aiden if you want FULL control of your coffee brew. I find I still use my Bialetti, Pour-Over or French Press more than the Aiden.

Aiden aligins with all the other Fellow line up, looks great, but better yet, woks like a champ! Consistent brew every time, and the way Aiden allows such customizations, its just so fun to have so many differnt profiles for yoiur different moods and brews! Love the machine now itching for my Espresso Series 1!

Very inconsistent machine. I have two of these and this issue is not isolated to just one. There have been multiple issues with the Aiden and it's not reliable. I love Fellow products but they released this one too early. Too many issues and all I have done consistently is loose good beans to bad brews.

This suggests a systemic issue with sensors or tubing. ### Software Shortcomings The Fellow Aiden app falls short of expectations. Key issues include: - Inability to manually initiate firmware upgrades - Lack of transparency in the upgrade process - Unclear communication about the availability of custom brew guides ### Overall Experience My first week with the Aiden has been disappointing. While I believe these issues may be resolved over time, the current state of the product doesn't justify its premium price point. ### Recommendation At present, I cannot recommend the Aiden. Coffee enthusiasts would be better served by either perfecting their manual pour-over technique or opting for a more cost-effective and reliable automated brewer. I have been eyes this machine for a while and the second the sesame color was added, my wife and I jumped on it! These new colors are so beautiful and elegant. I love the modern clean styling of the machine but most importantly how does it brew coffee? PRETTY WELL! I wanted to get into pour over while my wife wanted a daily drip coffee machine for her morning coffee. This machine covers both for us. I am constantly playing around with custom profiles and testing out different pour over settings while my wife does the typical drip pours and both of us are super satisfied and happy. I love the tech and app that goes along with it to making it easy to adjust custom profile settings.

This was a gift to my husband after our recent move to a senior living place and he has really enjoyed the ease of coffee making and the resulting delicious product. For me, the slick design is a perfect addition to our new kitchen and it resides next to my lovely Fellows tea kettle. . Thank you for caffeinating him and delighting me!

This is not only a good looking brewer but one that also produces interesting results! Easy to setup and maintain. I love the idea of getting templates on how the roaster thought those coffee should be prepared. The menu is nice, although round screen is not always followed with round type of design. More of a nit than actual complaint. The only con that I noticed is that it the carafe is not holding heat really well. I am comparing to Breville Precision Brewer, which may be why I have such high expectations for keeping my coffee hot. Otherwise I really love it!
