I decided to give Fellow products a try about a year ago. The Fellow Ode Gen 2 along with the traditional pour over set made great tasting coffee. Now that I have the Fellow Aiden, it has been so much easier sharing flavorful pour over with the rest of my family. It was incredibly easy to show my parents how to use it and they absolutely love their morning coffee, tasting the difference compared to their old Keurig pod machine. The biggest plus for me is how accurate it is when it comes to dosage and large batches of coffee, especially when it comes to selecting light, medium, or dark roast. The cold brew setting is also good! I'm excited to make coffee for guests or clients in the future. The 3 year warranty is also very comforting. Highly recommend!

OK, so when I decided to master the perfect cup of pour over, I went all in with the Tally scale, Ode grinder, Stagg EKG Kettle and Stagg pour over filter. After some serious work and a ton of beans, I had found the grind and ratio that worked for me. Things were great for about 9 months. Then the Aiden came out, and I kicked around getting one for the sole reason that I could make more than one cup at a time. Then I got one and gave it a test drive. I used the same amount of beans and the same grind I used for a manual pour over. Bam. Nailed it. First cup. I hate to admit it, but the Aiden is so easy and so consistent, that I only use my Stagg rig when I'm feeling' artsy! Otherwise, I use my Aiden. Yes, it's that good! And of course, like all Fellow products, it looks awesome on the countertop. Love the Fellow esthetic! So, yes, get the Stagg when you want to show off your pour over chops, but get the Aiden when you are looking for a great cup of pour over with the push of a button.

Best coffee machine I've ever had and it's not even close. I am a self proclaimed coffee snob … I ordered the original Ratio machine when it was a kick starter, had the Ottomatoc, the Ratio 6, and this blows them out of the water. Easy to use, coffee tastes significantly better … and this is all before the functionality of the App is added….fellow raises the bar AGAIN'

For starters, it's gorgeous. It's sleek and way more space saving than my Breville. Out of the box was an easy set up and makes excellent coffee. Like all good coffee, dialing in the grind is the biggest part on me. I'm super excited to see more coffee profiles to be uploaded through the app. The one problem was the clock always reverting to PST but they fixed it asap so their are on top of it. The one other thing I wish is that every time you move something- the carafe, the lid of the filter or water- the menu wakes up and goes to instant brew. It's nitpicky but I wish it stayed on sleep until I turned on the menu.

I bought this a few weeks ago because I wanted to be able to make better tasting coffee. So far, it has proven to make a better tasting brew - more flavorful and a smoother taste than from my previous coffee maker. Also, I really like the computerized guidelines. Glad I made the investment.

Unfortunately, the Aiden just falls way short of my expectations. I have been using a Chemex pour over for years and am very comfortable dialing grinds and getting the best flavor from each cup. I simply cannot find a setting that works for me on this brewer. Each cup comes out flavorless with no aroma, and all acid. I love the build, the quality, the settings and customization, that automation, but it doesn't work for me if I can't get a good cup of coffee out of it. I'm still a fan of Fellow products and have been using the Stagg kettle, the Stagg XF pour over, the Carter mug, and the Atmos canister. I'm not new to the world of Fellow and have been a huge fan. From reviews I've read, I'm certainly alone or in a very small group. Maybe I have to be fully committed to the ecosystem and get their Ode grinder too in order to enjoy the Aiden. Sadly, I'll be returning this one but I truly appreciate the research and development that has gone into this machine.

I am so happy with this that I put away my Ratio Eight machine. If you know that machine, you know that it makes pretty amazing coffee and very simple to use. However, it uses thick chemex filters and can be a spillover nightmare if you don't dial in the grind size. Leaving that behind, I was skeptical. However, not only was I surprised at how easy Aiden was to use but also on how amazingly detailed the flavor profile came out of it. Even with batch and the included Onyx coffee using three pulses in the profile, I was blown away with its taste. The fact that you can dial in the temperature is also amazing because you can basically have a cup already cooled down at the perfect sipping temp without burning the tongue and no more waiting for it to settle in the flavor. Wow. Just wow!!! One quick suggestion would be to more quickly see how much coffee I have to grind right away in the brew screen instead of having to click many times.

I have been doing the press pot for years, thinking that was the ultimate, but boy was I wrong. This coffee maker far outshines my press pot coffee. And rather than having to get up and make my press pot coffee, I now just get up and pour! The richest and the smoothness this coffee maker produces is something I never thought I could achieve at home. My mornings are now much brighter as I enjoy truly delicious coffee everyday.

Wow. Nice coffee maker. I mean, really nice. And then there's the brew method. With a good bean, this has been the best tasting coffee to rival my pour-overs. Fantastic job, Fellow. I've had it less than a month and will update if anything comes up since I haven't tested all the brew settings; I've only perfected my personal custom favorite so far. Otherwise, these words stand.

I really enjoy my Aiden. The quality of the coffee flavor combined with the flexibility to brew single cups to full batches really shines. Very simple to use and I would recommend it to anyone interested in pour over quality coffee with half the work.
