There are so many things to love about this coffee maker. Brews a great pot or cup of coffee. Ability to make a single serving. Daughter loves the cold brew option. I like the timer so coffee can be waiting when I wake up. If I had one complaint, it would be that the carafe does not keep the coffee hot enough. If I make a pot at 5:30 when I wake up, the coffee will be lukewarm when my husband wakes up at 6:00. I understand not wanting a "hot plate" but there should be an option to have a container that keeps the coffee hot.

It's been 2 weeks with Aiden. I've enjoyed every single cup/brew so far. This was a birthday gift to myself and by far my best one. Despite the app not being ready to use, the performance of this device makes up for unnecessary app functions. I haven't gotten into the finer customization options yet because we are still making our way through the default programs designed for the paired coffee sent with Aiden. Notes from my boyfriend: For a first gen device, the functionality is very good!

I pre-ordered an Aiden coffee maker months ago and was very excited to receive and try it out. I have been making pour over coffee for years using fellow products and loved the idea of using a coffee maker to experience the same results as a pour over, in addition to being able to make a full pot. After playing with the settings and grind I have found my perfect cup. I love this coffee maker. I am also looking forward to being able to use the app and try other settings. The one touch setting is great to be able to customize and make it very simple for others in the house to use. The only point I would make is that the pot does not keep The coffee hot for very long at all. I have even heated up the pot prior to brewing and it still doesn't keep coffee hot. Doesn't matter too much to me because we usually drink our coffee right away, but just be aware.

This coffee maker is great - it makes consistently awesome coffee. My morning routine has vastly improved. I initially wasn't sure I wanted this coffee maker, because it is expensive, and I am ultimately glad I bought it. I got to use one at a friend's house so that helped. I was making pour overs myself, and kept getting distracted partway through the process. The machine does not get distracted, so things ultimately are higher quality. I will say - I do not love the UI. I wish that Fellow had included a back button, instead of relying only on the wheel. The screen is obviously a square screen with a circular aperture on top of it, which feels quite lazy. The water tank is a weird shape, and has a handle that protrudes into the opening at the top which makes it awkward when pouring in water. Hopefully Fellow takes these things into consideration on the next version. I would say I am a lazy user, not a power user, so I have found them workable for the time being.

I've been brewing on the Aiden for a few weeks now and I must say that I am very impressed. As someone that brews pour over coffee every morning, I was hopeful that Aiden could simplify my mornings and so far that has been the case. Doesn't matter if I'm brewing batch or single cup, Aiden is giving me an excellent cup of coffee. I really haven't experimented much with creating my own profiles, as the built in profiles seem to produce just what I need. Looking forward to using custom profiles with my onyx advent calendar in December.

I have had a couple of problems with the Aiden. I am on my 3rd machine because they quit brewing. I only use filtered water but they said I needed to do a descale every 3 or 4 weeks. Doesn't make to much sense to me because I have an Nespresso and a Keurig , because of using filtered water I hardly ever have to descale. So I am hoping this won't be a forever fix because it seems excessive. The great thing is it makes GREAT coffee and Fellow stands behind their product!! If you're thinking about getting the Aiden you should do it!

Very consistent, with excellent pre-programmed formulas for basic roast types. My only minor nitpick is that it is not short enough to operate under my kitchen cabinets, and yet not tall enough to accept most 15 oz travel cups. A cutout in the center of the carafe tray would still allow support for the carafe, but allow more cups to fit under the showerhead.

Impressed with the Aiden coffe maker. Single pour or Batch pour (preferably) The filers that come (paper) are okay but I miss my Fellow Press (Metal Filter). I miss the fuller taste. Paper filer does allow for a “cleaner cup of Joe”. Overall appearance- Polish App, I get it, beta. Not as useful as I hoped but it CAN have potential. (Reserving comment) Aiden User interface - simple and easy for a batch instant coffee brew! Simple

The Aiden Precision Coffee Maker is the perfect coffee maker for those looking to delve deep into precision brewing. I have thoroughly enjoyed the custom brew profiles and the ability to make each pot of coffee unique to the coffee bean. Thank you Fellow!

I usually do a pour over or a French press in the morning before leaving for the office for work. Although I love it, it does cut into the time that's precious for my mourning routine. The greatest advantage with the Aiden is that feel as if I'm getting that taste of the pour over, without how much time it takes me to create a good pour over in the morning. The added dial, the brewing selections, and customization options help give me the same crafted tasting pour over quality cup of coffee without the amount of preparation. I use the timed brew feature the most and use it every morning.
