I bought this as a gift for my husband, who recently decided to be healthier and stop drinking iced, sugary coffee's and stick to black coffee. Upon doing this, he complained about his coffee being very bitter using his current machine. After reading several reviews, I went ahead and purchased this machine. We followed the instructions to get it set up, which was incredibly easy. He brewed his first cup and upon tasting it, said that it was a “really good cup of coffee.” We have pretty much switched over to only using this machine and he has it set on a schedule to brew him a cup every morning. I am so happy with this purchase. The instructions for brewing are very easy. Cleanup is simple and quick. We have noticed that when we are done brewing, the machine doesn't drip like other machines we have used in the past. I would buy this machine all over again! Thanks for a great product!

This is a well designed, well built coffee maker. Have only had it for less than a week but so far I love the thoughtful design, the simple operation and coffee tastes great! The thermal carafe keeps coffee not for a decent amount of time, although after an hour, I find I need to use the microwave. I'm not a finicky pour over aficionado, but the controls that adjust for altitude, light to dark roast, and brew size are easy to use and very impressive!

I'm a new dad, so I had to ditch my daily pour-over routine in favor of dealing with some more pressing liquids. My go-to is a locally-roasted Ethiopian natural process bean, so I started with the generic Light Roast profile, but it yielded a thin, sad cup. On my second attempt, I spotted a Fellow Drops profile for a similar-sounding Ethiopian and used that. Closer! I ended up duplicating that Drops profile, tweaking the temps, and reverse-engineering my old pour-over coffee-to-water ratio. Perfect, consistent brews ever since. Small design nitpick: when the form of an appliance relies on clean, squared edges, it really stands out when they aren't perfectly aligned. If I stare at my unit too long, I find myself wanting to squeeze it into better alignment.

We selected this over the Moccamaster for size and presence of thermal carafe. Maybe because this carafe is beautiful, it's not used to having to work too hard. No oxygen seal, large surface area, relatively thin vacuum chamber all contribute to seriously sub-par thermal capabilities. I didn't buy this so I could pour my coffee into a second carafe. Especially knowing that with the way this thing pours half of the coffee will end up on my countertop. Otherwise the engineering and fit/finish of this machine is impressive, the UX is good (though I wish I understood the basis for the differing roast level instructions) and we LOVE that you set the timer for when you want the coffee to be ready instead of to start. The coffee itself is notably good.

We got the Aiden after years of Fellow pour over being the only way to have great coffee and with the machine it's so much faster and tastes great. I love the guided brew process, all of the options for single cup, cold brew, etc and the design is perfect for my kitchen. We couldn't be happier.

Great coffeemaker with some quirks when brewing large batches. I have enjoyed the quality of the brew when it is single serve or small batches (under 3.5 cups). Large batches have been a challenge with the basket overflowing despite setting the Ode get 2 grinder to setting 10. I will have to continue to experiment with pulses and perhaps lower the amount of coffee from what the Aiden recommends.

Such a cool brewer. I bought this machine right before I received my Onyx Advent box, and it was the coolest introduction to the machine with Onyx's pre-programmed recipes for each coffee process. As a cafe owner and roaster, I am particular with what I drink in the morning. I really appreciate the versatility of the brewer's use of basket shape and size, for a single cup for myself or multiple for the family. This feature allows me to dial in my coffee to spec with either the pre-programmed recipes or by creating my own. Giving the user full control over recipe building is the best thing this machine does, while holding down the essentials with agitation and temperature accuracy. Pros: 1. full programming control 2. built for customer experience- nerd out or conk out, you'll be drinking great coffee. 3. NO STEAM to damage cabinets (that seal keeps it all in, genius!) 4. temp control for each pulse 5. versatile baskets and brew head toggle for small to large volume. 6. the agitation from the brew head is just right, and gets me a flat bed of grinds on the flat bottom basket, or slightly concave bed of grinds on the cone. 7. The one-button slick modern design to match my Ode 2 and Fellow Kettle becomes a conversation piece for visitors. Bitchin. cons: 1. the carafe to hold the brewed coffee is well insulated, but the lid has gaps that let a lot of the heat out. Not really a problem for me since I pour my coffee right away, but could imagine it being an issue if you want to keep a smaller amount of coffee in there for longer than 30 minutes. However, I like the design of the lid/carafe with NO moving parts, therefore less to clean. Suggested improvements: 1. I love that the recipes tell you how much coffee to add to the basket, but when the volume is selected, you have to add the basket to the brewer before it shows the input amount for the ratio you're brewing. I like to add the coffee and give it a little shake to level, so I need to add the basket, hit the button, remove the basket and add coffee, then return to the brewer. A solution would be to prompt volume -> coffee amount -> add basket -> start 2. A different lid that allows better heat retention. 9.9/10. Buy this brewer- it is worth it and it might spoil you. This actually exceeded my expectations! It makes the coffee I have used for years, taste that much better! It is so easy to brew just one cup for me. I love the reservoir so that I don't have to fill water for every brew. The carafe keeps things hot and is safe not being glass, for breakage. It looks so nice on my counter next to the matching grinder. I am so happy to have made this purchase!

The results are nothing less than remarkable—nuanced, fully-extracted, and most importantly, delicious. The Aiden is as easy to use as it is beautiful. Whether you want a quick single cup or a full batch, the machine tells you exactly how much coffee to add and knows just how much water to pull from the tank — no measuring, no math. More advanced users can create custom brew profiles or use preloaded Fellow Drop custom brews. Like all machines, the Aiden isn't perfect. The machine doesn't quite feel as premium as Fellow's other products — not cheap exactly, but like most reviewers, I recognize that the build quality feels much cheaper than its price point. However, I have not found problems with the app though these have been reported. Ultimately, this is a phenomenal machine that brings a master barista into your home.

I love this coffee maker for multiple reasons. The first is that it looks amazing Fellow clearly put their signature spin on what a coffee maker should look like and they knocked it out of the park. It is sleek modern stylish and fits in a countertop well. I also love how they paired it with the fellow drops being able to import profiles from the coffee I buy makes for an easy and fun user experience. Lastly I love this coffee maker simply because it makes one heck of a cup of coffee. The precision you get out of every cup is frankly unrivaled and the depth of flavors it is able to extract are unparalleled. Overall price for quality this is the best coffee maker I've ever owned and I would highly recommend one to anyone who likes good coffee!
