I love the look of my machine, and have enjoyed the coffee what's I got my new measurements down. My biggest complaint is the length it stays hot. I understand they don't want to scorch it with a bottom burner - but the insulation should be better. If I sleep passed the brew time or get my second cup later - it's just not hot. Disappointing for the price to not have hot enough coffee.

It's a good coffee machine overall. The guided brews are a bit misleading, probably ok for random coffee brewing. 80 grams of coffee for the 50oz (10cup) is a bit too much for these baskets unless you're grinding too fine… and thus far has been a bit muddy despite being more like 18/1. With a full reservoir and various single origins washed and natural, 72 grams has been nice. Depends on the extraction, the grind size etc. My main niggle is the carafe; it holds coffee fairly hot for an hour, but not much longer. My Zojirushi keeps coffee hot for 3-4 hours, but is a much more insulated carafe. The handle on the Aiden also feels cheap, but we'll see. The UI and overall product design is where it shines.

We've been using the coffeemaker for about two weeks now with mixed results. It seems very complicated to get a good cup of coffee. I hade to buy a scale to weigh ground coffee to get reasonable results and even then it's been inconsistent and messy. It seems very fussy with regard to filters and grind. Perhaps with more experience it will work out. It's too messy and fussy for my wife to use, she has resumed microwaving Starbucks via packs… Overall I'd have to say Im disappointed. Maybe we'll get the hang of it but somehow making a good cup of coffee should not require this much effort. I might go back to pour overs for most days.

Temperature control and flow is great. Selection for brewing is one spot that sold me on it. Operations of it is smooth. I only drink fresh hot coffee so the Kate is nice but I don't use it. The material may might not you expect with the price point. The inside is the true beauty of the machine. I would rate it best in class for price range. A con I do have is small put a square display.

I purchased this approximately 1 month ago . the overall quality is outstanding . from a design perspective it looks great on the countertop. there are two areas where I think it could be improved . the first area is adding a more thermal carafe solution. for this amount of money the coffee should stay hotter, longer . the other area I believe could use some improvement is the user interface to make a quick pot , quickly . you spend a lot of time adjusting profiles just to make a pot of coffee . Overall though, makes consistently great coffee .. looks great .. and all for a very reasonable price.

I purchased the Aiden about a month ago and so far so good. I had read the reviews before I purchased it and they were fairly accurate. I like the versatility of changing the brew pattern for the type of coffee you are using (light roast, medium roast, etc.) and also being able to create your own formula. It was fairly straight forward to set it up and start using it. It looks very sleek and I like that the carafe keeps the coffee hot without burning it. Also it seems easy to clean so far. Similar to other reviewers the only reason I didn't give it five stars was the price. It is a little pricey but I like good coffee so I decided to treat myself.

Overall I am happy with the function of the product but, with the cost, I thought there would be far less plastic involved in this piece. Maybe I didn't research it properly but I was surprised with just how much was plastic. I think the only part that is metal is the carafe.

We have been using Aiden for 2 weeks and not overly exited. It makes good coffee and definitely a learning curve. You have to get the grind right even after you use the built in and recommended profiles. Sometimes the coffee is watery and sometimes it is too strong again you have to learn the correct grind for the coffee. So far i have used 3 types of medium roast coffee and the grind size for ranges from 4 to 7 for the right consistency. The amount of output is not consistent, we selected 3 (~15oz) cups of coffee but makes less than the selected amount close to 8 oz. Selected grind size 5 and 6, both resulted in the same amount. Basically it makes half the selected amount. The Thermal carafe is not great the coffee goes cold ~20-30 mins. Finally after 2 weeks of trial and error my wife said the coffee was good for the first time. Happy with the product but did not expect the learning curve.

The carafe needs to be improved so it doesn't drip so much. Additionally the carafe doesn't keep the coffee hot for more than 20 minutes.

Makes great coffee! I love the ease of use and the simple style. My only complaint is the thermal carafe does not keep the coffee warm long enough. Maybe 30 minutes… this needs significant improvement.
