[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter is two and a half and we have a dog, so between the two of them the floors downstairs never stay clean for long. It is mostly hardwood with a tile kitchen. Setup took almost nothing. Out of the box, through the app, and running. The part that actually changed my routine is that it vacuums and mops all of it, hardwood and tile, in one run and on its own. I start it and it handles the whole downstairs which is all hard floors, picked up and washed in a single pass. The practical version of that is this: I run it in the evening and come down in the morning to floors that have actually been washed, not just pushed around. At two and a half my daughter is on the floor constantly, hands and knees, putting whatever she finds straight in her mouth. I stopped thinking about it, which is the whole reason to buy one of these. #iworkforsharkninja

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unboxed and set up my Shark Navigator this past weekend and gave it a few test runs around the first floor of my house. Setup was easy and straightforward, and the in-box materials proved sufficient on their own, though the links for how-to videos were appreciated. Coming from an older robot vacuum I've had for a few years now, the difference in suction was immediately apparent, with the Navigator picking up things like cat kibble the older vacuum could sometimes struggle with. It also seemed to be far more up to the task of handling area rugs, picking up cat hair my old vacuum often couldn't get. The docking base is also a big step up from my older vacuum, and I'm already appreciating the self-emptying feature every time the vacuum docks when it's finished. With my old vacuum, the app felt like a necessary annoyance, as it was the only way to control features like the suction volume, but the Shark app for the Navigator impressed me with how much functionality it had to define and edit rooms on the house map. The house map itself also surprised me, with the mapping run picking up on areas and boundaries that the robot couldn't even reach, like a front door landing. Mopping is also made easy after defining which rooms contain rugs and letting the device detect and add them to the house map. I've only done a short test run with plain water in the mop, but switching over to the mop pad plate was simple and I look forward to letting it tackle the whole first floor soon.

I also love the color; it actually looks nice sitting out instead of looking like a typical vacuum. It cleans well too, picks up dirt and debris without needing to go over the same spot twice. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this over the weekend and it's our second Shark robot vacuum in the house. Absolutely in love with it it is the perfect helper for just getting up dog hair and crumbs and debris that tracks in from outside which makes the laundry room look very very messy but isn't worth really cleaning everyday. Are dogs are afraid of it, but our dogs are also the main reason we needed it so I think that all comes out in the wash. It was easily able to navigate the fairly cluttered room it's in Without getting tangled up or stuck. It did have some trouble going over a rogue piece of clothing that was on the ground But that sort of issue is to be expected and is more of a user error than anything else .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Vacuum works well! A few notes on instructions- the light is green (not blue) until the robot is docked. I also think it would have been helpful to know to connect to the app before it docked so that I can adjust the settings. The robot is very loud, and even after I turned volume down in settings, the loud noise it makes when it's docking and starting up felt a little jarring. I'm not entirely sure if the app/WiFi is completely necessary/is a benefit for this product or if it will function without it (and maybe the app complicates it). I also tried to turn it off, but it still has a blue light so I'm not sure how to get it to completely shut down. Could have also used instructions for how to remove and replace with mop piece as once I connected the vacuum portion, it felt really locked in place (maybe user error).
