I had another robot vacuum in the past that would always get stuck during cleaning and became more of a hassle than it was worth. But this Shark one is so much better and is able to navigate obstacles and redirect itself much more efficiently. The suction is also great and isn't loud like the other one I used to have. This vacuum makes cleaning so much easier especially with 3 kids and a dog to clean up after!

While I don't have the same precise control over every crumb and corner, I absolutely adore that I can direct it through an app. Upon setup, it maps my entire home so it knows exactly where to go on its cleaning missions. When option to “Locate the Robot”, I cannot turn off the sound after it goes off. It did not return to its dock gracefully. It ran over its landing mat before returning to its dock.

It is mostly hardwood with a tile kitchen. Setup took almost nothing. Out of the box, through the app, and running. The part that actually changed my routine is that it vacuums and mops all of it, hardwood and tile, in one run and on its own. I start it and it handles the whole downstairs which is all hard floors, picked up and washed in a single pass. The practical version of that is this: I run it in the evening and come down in the morning to floors that have actually been washed, not just pushed around. At two and a half my daughter is on the floor constantly, hands and knees, putting whatever she finds straight in her mouth. I stopped thinking about it, which is the whole reason to buy one of these. #iworkforsharkninja

It didn't look like it was working, but once it went back to its docking station, we had a perfect map of our floor plan available on the app. Crazy! It does a great job picking up dust, crumbs and hair, easily navigates around the room and leaves the floors nice and clean. The mopping function is also very convenient. I love that is automatically returns to the charging dock and does the cleaning without any extra effort. I am very happy with this vacuum. This is a great helper for everyday cleaning!
