[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok. I am literally comparing this with Italian tuna cans I tried from, true italy. This is WAY BETTER! I don't seriously believe this is even possible. I was slightly disappointed with the size (its really small) but taste is one of the best! I believe they need to drop down the price a little though..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only just come to appreciate tuna in olive oil (vs water), so I was excited to try the Rio mare tuna in olive oil. This is solid light wild caught tuna, with "a drizzle of oil, no need to drain". There are no additional ingredients. There is a legend so the buyer can determine the fishing method in the particular can of tuna. (My can was fished with surrounding nets & lift nets & hand operated) The label also includes the ocean & area. The expiration date on my can is in 2030, so I won't hesitate to stock up on additional cans for my pantry I tried the tuna right out of can and in a grilled tuna sandwich with mayo & pickle relish. The flavor and texture of this tuna is superior to other brands.

I've tried several brands and types of tuna fish, and this one is toward the top of my list! The tuna itself had great flavor - nice and pure without being overly "fishy." The oil was not too heavy and its flavor didn't mask that of the fish. A great addition to a Niçoise salad! One thing I've preferred from other brands was a larger flake of tuna - this particular tuna had small flakes and was a little mushier in texture.

I find other canned tuna to be a little bland but the texture and quality of this tuna mixed with the olive oil were perfect. I intended to made it into a sandwich but it was so good I ate it straight out of the can. I think given quality and taste, this is one of the best tuna's at this price point. I did receive this product from Stellar Product Testing, and would not likely have grabbed it on my own. While packaging, especially in this case, isn't an indicator of the quality or taste, I would have admittedly overlooked this tuna based on this. It didn't look particularly appetizing given the picture of the tuna. I will note that seeing the product of Italy logo did catch my attention and would entice me to want to try it. I tend to eat with my eyes first, but I will absolutely be repurchasing as this is genuinely one of the best canned tuna's I've had.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new favorite brand for tuna. I originally thought all tuna tasted the same. I was wrong when I tried this brand. The flavor was absolutely perfect. I didn't need to add any seasoning besides the mayo.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The taste of the tuna was extremely fresh and flavorful, with the olive oil adding the perfect hint of flavor. It enriched the flavor and I did not need to add anything to it, normally adding mayonnaise or salt to other canned tunas. The texture was moist and all of the chunks stayed intact, leaving me with nice big bites of flavor. The olive oil made it smooth and easy to swallow. I tried the tuna alone and then added grain crackers and I honestly enjoyed the tuna alone. It did not need anything to supplement the flavor at all. The quality of the tuna was premium and would be worth the price point. I would purchase this over other tunas just for the flavor and the quality of the tuna. It was absolutely delicious and I would throw this in my work bag as a healthy snack that would put a big smile on my face. I received the product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I really enjoyed this tuna and I was genuinely surprised at how much my picky kids liked it too. They are usually hesitant with seafood. The texture was light and felt so fresh despite being canned, I was so impressed! Especially compared to other brands I have tried previously, it is definitely worth the price for its high quality. We will definitely go out of our way to shop for this tuna brand in the future, I will love to have more of it on hand for quick and easy healthy meals that my family will enjoy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought the tuna was really flavorful and came in large solid pieces. The oil was really good and made for a nice salad dressing. My only issue is that the cans were quite small and it's a pretty expensive considering how little you get.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product was way more moist than a typical can of tuna. It had just a little bit of olive oil in the can which provided great flavor! The serving size was about right for lunch and spread easily on bread. I would definitely purchase it again.
