I really think this runs packed in olive oil is much a good product, it tastes amazing. The olive oil in it makes it so easy to prepare a simple tuna salad. I like an open face tuna salad (celery, pickles, Dijon, s&p) with cheddar melted over it, or just tuna salad with cracker! This was so yummy. I think the price of this tuna makes sense for the quality. It felt fancy, but also a super reasonable price to make a delish lunch. Overall, loved the packaging, the product, the taste. I received this product from stellar reviews testing panel, and would definitely buy again.

Most typical tuna brands we buy end up feeling dry after draining. I was actually surprised with the better flavor and lighter oiliness for the Rio Mare tuna. It was good enough that we just mixed it with mayonnaise and ate it on crackers. I was given this canned tuna product to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, however, if I see it in stores, I'd likely buy it to try again in our other recipes.

Rio Mar fit the bill perfectly. I received this as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and was so eager to try it. To be honest it was my first time hearing of this brand. The can was easy to pop open and I noticed the lovely pink color of the tuna. I appreciated that it was packed in olive oil but not enough to drown the tuna, just enough to keep it moist. The texture was light and flaky and the taste was superb right out of the can. I usually end up mixing tuna with dressing or mayo but this was delicious as is. I loved the light texture and salty taste! I really appreciate the thoughtfulness that goes in to sourcing the tuna as that is important to me. Very simple ingredients and delicious taste. Couldn't ask for more! Thank you for opening my eyes to this brand. Would love to see it more readily available in stores vs having to order o line. Will definitely try again!

I loved it, the oil, the quality of the tuna, and the texture. I like that the tuna isn't broken up that much and is sold like a tuna steak maybe. I ate it in a salad and one on crackers. Also, made it into a tuna salad.

My family and I love tuna and this taste really beat all other kinds we have eaten. The flavor was very clean and fresh. Just pure tuna flavor, not fishy and no preservative oily taste. The texture was spot on too. No gritty or sliminess to it, just a nice flake. We first ate it plain to get the taste, then my husband loved it so much he made a sandwich out of it. I would definitely pick up a can of this tuna at the store. The price and the quality matched up perfectly. This is saying a lot as my husband is very picky and does cheaper options a lot and he was crazy about this tuna too. Would recommend to a friend!!!
