I feel like that helps it maintain a fresher flavor. Sometimes when you buy canned tuna, there can be an overly fishy smell, and I didn't experience that at all with these cans.

It is perfect source of protein and tastes good with olive oil. I like that it comes in small packaging size, great for single serve.

My hesitation was unfounded as this canned tuna was incredible. The texture is perfect and the fish itself tastes so pure. I plated it straight from the can along with the drizzle of oil in the can. I ate it with almond four crackers and had the most wonderful afternoon snack. This is my new favorite canned tuna! That was not the case for this tuna!! Rio Mare Solid Light White Tuna in Olive Oil is easily the best around. It is SO good. The texture was good, not hard and stringy like some canned tuna gets. The addition of olive oil took it over the top. I found myself craving this tuna after I first tried it. Something about it was just so deliciously satisfying - straight from the can!! I didn't have an opportunity to make anything with it because it was THAT good I just had it as a little snack! I did find that I much preferred it room temp instead of chilled (which is how I usually prefer those pouches of tuna). The price for three tins of tuna is outstanding and I cannot wait to purchase more. I highly recommend you give it a go!

There's no fishy smell when you open the can, you get clean flavor of wild tuna. i would definitely buy this product again.

They couldn't wait to eat it and dove right into it, eating it straight out of the can. They really loved the Rio Mare Solid Light Wild Tuna in Olive Oil. It had fantastic smell, texture, and taste and the boys are begging for me to buy it again. For us, it will be a bit of a treat since it does have a higher price point than other tunas (because let me tell you, we can put away some tuna over here).
