I cannot tell if this product does anything but put a layer of odd sour scent (febreze?) over any sports-related scent that is in the clothing. The scent is even worse when I try to wear the gym clothing that I've washed in Tide plus Febreze Sport. The body heat seems to amp up the already foul scent the detergent left on my clothing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tide Sport is hard to find in my area. Whenever I see it I get a few bottles. It is the only detergent that I have used that really takes the stink out of clothing. It is hot here and as equestrians we are outside all the time. Tide sport makes our clothes smell great.

I was very excited to try this product because my husband's workout clothes can be smelly sometimes. However, the residual scent of this detergent is WAY too strong. I used it to wash my sheets and the scent was so strong that it transferred to my hair by the morning. I have never had this happen with any other Tide scent.

I absolutely love this detergent. You only need a little bit but it gets the job done. My clothes are clean and the smell wonderful for days. It even helps get smells out of all my activewear and my boyfriends clothes.Tide is a little pricier than some detergents, but it is so worth it.

My husband and I work out every day. Even washing our gym clothes daily, they start to retain a sweaty/musty smell. The sport detergent cuts through the gross sweat smell and leaves clothes clean and fresh. I don't use much detergent because we have soft water and I find the scent pleasant and long lasting. Through a 12 hour shift as a paramedic in smelly houses and around dirty people my clothes still smell fresh when I get home. Thanks for a great product Tide!!!!

Ok, this may sound nuts, and I've been known to make unusual associations with scent, but does anyone else think this product makes your clothes smell like the liquid pink amoxicillin we got as kids to treat strep? One whiff and it brought me right back to my childhood. So, aside from that association, I think the product works well. Even my white as white UA hoodie came out sparkling clean, despite my tendency to get all kinds of stuff on it. Hard to tell if anything smells like embedded sweat because, like I said, I'm transported back in time every time I catch a whiff. I only wish it came in other scent options. Like a line-dried clean linen scent. Something clean and unobtrusive. It's tough to get my head in the game when I'm reflecting back on my "My Little Pony" collection (the originals, I might add)...

I am an exclusive Tide Detergent user. I always think I need to use the Bleach Alternative versions in order to clean really well. However this product works great and smells so good. I received a compliment on how nice my laundry smelled from overnight guests and I love how it lingers in the fabric and comes out at the right time working out or not. I wish it was made for HE.

I love the fresh smell our laundry has with this soap. I never really noticed that your soap does make a difference until I started purchasing this specific one. It’s in the mid range of Tide prices. Our clothes smell good, feel clean and don’t feel like there’s still dirt leftover after the wash. I recommend this one!

I told my family & friends the day i used it. Tide has finally given me something i NEEDED!! I have a teenage son who's hormones are changing & he sweats all the time & me i sweat a lot also due to hot flashes & regular duties. this Tide sport does it all by removing all odor & leaves a nice fresh scent.Buy it,Try it,You'll love it !!

If you don’t want to add baking soda to your sport clothes load. Use this detergent. It will get rid of the odor and prevent it from appearing. Once a sports clothes get odors, they might always stay with that if you don’t use something special to wash it as this
