I am a, loyal to Tide and since I have two ice hokcey players who have very smelly equipment that is diffcult to get the smell out of, I thought this was perfect. It does take the sweaty odor out of the jerseys, however, the scent of the product is not pleasant for daily wash. I agree with the poster who compared it to urine, I coudl not pinpoint exactly what it was, but I do not feel fresh when I smell it on my clothes. Maybe that is the formula the helps elimate the sport smell. I will use it only for the hockey equipment and nothing else. I will admit almost anything is better than the stench of dirty jerseys.

I am an exclusive Tide Detergent user. I always think I need to use the Bleach Alternative versions in order to clean really well. However this product works great and smells so good. I received a compliment on how nice my laundry smelled from overnight guests and I love how it lingers in the fabric and comes out at the right time working out or not. I wish it was made for HE.

This is the best laundry soap I have found!! I am in LOVE with the Tide Sport!! Having a son that plays on 3 baseball teams and comes home covered from head to toe in dirt, sweat, etc, on his uniform every single day this is a blessing. I have used Tide for years, but this new sport is AWESOME at removing the embedded odor. Stains don’t seem to hang on as before. (Wish I had started with this product at the beginning of the season, might been able to save the WHITE baseball pants that are now out of control with stains.) But seriously I love the smell of the Tide Sport. The uniforms no longer hold that lingering smell of odor. I LOVE IT!! Thanks TIDE!!

My husband is currently serving our country in the Untied States Military. His uniforms smell terrible after a long day working in a shop and I feel completely satisfied when I can pull a uniform from the dryer smelling fresh and clean. Tide Sport is the only product that I've found that can take the smell away while also protecting his sensitive skin.

I LOVE Tide and today my husband and I bought this one for our HE machine (they do have it in HE even though this is the regular machine liquid). We have two boys who are into sports and one is a teenager, so Febreze and Sport go together. I smelled it in the store and didn't really care for it, but my husband said let's just try it. I did one load and it smelled horrible (my husband still thinks it smells fine! Ugh!). I went back to the grocery store where we purchased it and exchanged it for the Original Scent. Just not what I was expecting.....Even my 15-year old said it smelled funky! Oh well - glad to have the Original back in the house!

I have a teenager who participates in multiple sports, a machinist husband, and we all exercise. Our clothes can get stinky fast! Tide Sport works well to battle those odors. The main issue that I have with the product is that they changed the formula and the scent has changed. It smells less fresh and more overpowering, almost like cologne. I’m on the hunt for a new, similar product with a fresher, cleaner scent. 

I have used Tide for over 30 years and have loved it. I tried this new product because my husband has running clothes that, even after washing, are kind of stinky. I thought this would be a great solution. I also threw in a pair of my jeans because I had room in the load. The perfume in this product is overwhelming. I have now washed the jeans three more times and I cannot get the smell out. I kept them out to air and the smell still lingers. I may have to throw away the jeans because I can't get rid of the perfume smell. This product may clean the clothes but it leaves a terrible perfume smell that seems to linger forever.

This stuff really does work against smelly odors I have multiple teenage boys so I should know I truly believe that ride is the only detergent out th eww re that's not all watered down when i pay alot i expect whatever I'm buying to actually be what it says it is and do what it says it will and so far ride any type smell or whatever has been the best out there

I always buy the Original Tide. My husband went shopping and came home with the Febreze Freshness Sport Liquid Laundry Detergent. I though OH NO I should've went to the store! To my amazement, he did a WONDERFUL job!!! It got clothes clean, which I was used to with using Tide, but it also smell fantastic and the aroma lasts for days. Thank you Tide. I LOVE IT!!!

I ran my longest run last week....8 miles. I had to stick around for another hour for friends and awards and another hour in a warm car home. By the time I got in the door, my clothes were embarrassingly stinky. No time to wash them, so they didn't go into the washer until the next day. This stuff took the smell right out. And two days later, I could still smell it on my run. Unfortunately I dislike the scent. I understand it needs to be perfumed to mask any perspiration odor; however, why not good old Tide Original? I usually wash my running tech fabrics in Cold Water Tide, and they smell amazing. But I love the concept of this stuff and just hope for another scent option.....please?
