We bought this coffee maker and absolutely loved it. We had it about a year and it started to leak out of the bottom. We did not buy any warranty and we loved the coffee maker so much that we just bought a new one...what are the chances of it happening again, right? Wrong. The second one also started to leak out of the bottom and of course, did not buy a warranty on the second one either. Guess I should have read the reviews first before wasting my money on a second one. Sad thing is that I also bought my brother one as well. Very disappointed to say the least. Hamilton Beach needs to do a recall on these or something.

Kinda slow, no reservoir for water with k-kup side. Have to put the exact amount of water for the cup your using when using k-kups and if you pit too much itll run all over the counter top. I like the fact it does both k-kup and caraff but its very slow even the k-kups take about 3-4 minutes to make one cup of coffee.

The pot coffee function works fine. The single cup function does not. It is slow and rather loud. About once a week, the single serve coffee lid opens during brewing, popping the locking lid off and spraying hot coffee and grounds in an 18 inch radius. This is a serious design flaw. It would not buy this model again.

I like the convenience of making a pot or a cup BUT the reason I wanted a new coffee maker so I could have piping hot coffee. This one is no better than my old coffee pot. My boyfriend has a Black and Decker coffee pot that cost only 20 bucks and makes really hot coffee not just barely hot. I wish I had purchased one of those.

Works good, but a little slow, and would be nice if it had a larger water tank for the k cup.
