I have always like perked coffee. Had to give it up. Now that they have improved Coffee Makers. I have looked at several coffee makers. Read a lot of reviews. I love how Hamilton Beach put a video on this coffee maker. It really helped me to decide that this is the one for me. Sam's was the cheapest on this Hamilton Beach FlexBrew. I really like having the option of making the one cup on the right. It is really nice to have the other side to make more coffee. At first I thought I was going to send it back because it was too high under my cabinet. My daughter advised me to just pull the maker out when filling it with water & adding coffee to the basket. Then I realized I could just scoot it back. That worked really well. It does take less coffee. The first time I use it, I put too much coffee. It really depends on how strong you like your coffee. Some like it real strong, some like it not so strong. My advise is to do a trial test the first time & go from there. It is really simple to use after you pay close attention to the video. It really is very pretty on my counter. Thank you Hamilton Beach for coming up with this coffee maker.

Purchased this for our house; one of us loves coffee, the other tea. This brews the perfect cup for both of us. And if we are having people for dinner, the ability to brew a full pot is awesome. Love this coffee maker and would recommend to everyone.

You just can't make it any easier, I've I've got one and absolutely love it. I also bought one for my mother, she's single and loves the fact that she doesn't have to make a pot of coffee when she can just make a cup at a time when she wants one.... and it's fresh and it's always a fresh cup of coffee, tea, hot cocoa, or apple cider. She said she's being soooooo spoiled

This coffee maker offers great options, it's easy to use & is easy to clean. The only complaint I have is it doesn't heat the water to the extra hot that I require. I like my coffee so hot that you can only sip it. Other than that, it works great a is a great buy. IT brews wonderfully & looks great on my countertop. I have absolutely no other complaints. The only reason I gave it a 4 is because of the heating of the water, but don't get me wrong it heats enough for a nice hot cup of coffee for most.

This is our favorite coffee maker but know that you may get only 4-5 years out of it. In the past, things like the warmer plate would stop working but this last time, the water literally leaked out of the bottom of the pot reservoir. But I will keep coming back until there is a reasonably priced comparison. This is our 4th one we have purchased and the only reason I keep going back is the convenience of a full 12 cup brew pot and a k-cup at a reasonable price.

The Hamilton Beach FlexBrew 2-Way Coffee Maker makes excellent coffee whether it's a full carafe or a single K-Cup, (Delicious five star). I gave three stars overall for one reason that may not pertain to everyone, it does not have a removable water reservoir. If you have upper cabinets above your counter top you can not open and fill the water fixed reservoir so you have to lift it up to move it out to the edge of your counter. This machine is heavy, a removable water reservoir would make it perfect. Wb Niagara Falls NY

This coffee maker worked great for the first year. After one year, however, the single serve side started acting up. It is no longer working, and Hamilton Beach will not do anything about it since the warranty is up. The carafe side still works, but we bought this unit to have both options. Not happy about this brand.

Water reservoir for the k cup holds max of 14 oz. of water. No selection button for coffee cup size. You add the amount of water for the coffee cup size. The next issue is brew time for the k cup is way too long compared to the Keurig and Cuisinart makers I previously owned.

I bought one of these a few weeks ago... I wrote to you about the problems I was having with the single brew side... You sent me another one and it is doing the same thing... Here are a couple of photos of what they are doing... I will not buy another Hamilton Beach Coffeemaker...

Very slow brewing coffee pot. Both Kcup and Carafe sides. Tried setting up the Auto Brew for a certain AM time so its ready when i walk out the door but cant seem to get it to brew. Tried a few times, and from a few people, but all with the same results. Honestly if i still had the box, it would be returned. Was alot happier with just my Keurig (until it kicked the bucket after 3 years).
