Although this coffee maker looks appealing, I didn't get a chance to use it. I realized that the model I purchased does not have a water reserve tank. I decided that it wasn't the coffee machine I wanted, so I packed it up and returned it to the store.

This is our favorite coffee maker but know that you may get only 4-5 years out of it. In the past, things like the warmer plate would stop working but this last time, the water literally leaked out of the bottom of the pot reservoir. But I will keep coming back until there is a reasonably priced comparison. This is our 4th one we have purchased and the only reason I keep going back is the convenience of a full 12 cup brew pot and a k-cup at a reasonable price.

Love the ability to brew either a single cup with kcup or my own grounds. As well as being able to brew a complete pot also. It does take a while to brew the single cup, compared to a keurig; However it is still nice. It is nice having a water reservoir on both sides. The only thing I wasn't crazy about is having to hold the program button at the same time as the clock in order to set the time. I also wish since there are separate water reservoirs not being able to brew a pot and a single cup at the same time. Some times I want a nice vanilla cinnamon coffee while my husband prefers a pot of Breakfast blend. So waiting for each other to be done takes a bit of time. Other than those couple of small things, we love the coffee maker.

My wife and I purchased these just a few days ago and have already return it to SAM'S CLUB. The single cup side of this machine did not work properly. It applied so much pressure that hot coffee went ever. It was a real mess to clean up, but we gave it another try and it repeated the same awful coffee mess every where.

As coffee makers go this is nothing special. You know what is special for anyone thinking about purchasing this coffee maker, it doesn't come With The Pod to hold a water Filter!!! Every coffee maker I've owned in the last 10 years comes with a water filter holder/pod and at least one starter filter. Oh NO Hamilton Beach things so highly of "themselves" if you want a water filter Pod it'll cost you $9.99...that should be unacceptable to anyone needing a coffee maker. I would not recommend this coffee maker.

This pot is working very well. It makes great coffee (I like it strong) and is reasonably fast, much faster than the old pot. It also does great as a single server maker, although not quite as fast as the name brand pot Kureg that we also have, but maybe 20-30 seconds slower.

I had this coffeemaker for about 1 1/2 weeks and finally returned it yesterday. I wasted about 15 K-cups using the single-serve side. It worked right maybe 4 times. The most annoying issue was when the coffee grounds would spew out of the front and onto the counter, etc. It did make several cups of coffee with grounds in it, as well. I never used the carafe side so I don’t know how well it worked. I was so excited to get this and now am so disappointed. It did make the coffee really hot, which I loved, but it’s too expensive to waste the k-cups (and I was using the Keurig brand only). I also thoroughly cleaned all the parts every time I used it. Back to my mini-Keurig for now ☹️

I have always like perked coffee. Had to give it up. Now that they have improved Coffee Makers. I have looked at several coffee makers. Read a lot of reviews. I love how Hamilton Beach put a video on this coffee maker. It really helped me to decide that this is the one for me. Sam's was the cheapest on this Hamilton Beach FlexBrew. I really like having the option of making the one cup on the right. It is really nice to have the other side to make more coffee. At first I thought I was going to send it back because it was too high under my cabinet. My daughter advised me to just pull the maker out when filling it with water & adding coffee to the basket. Then I realized I could just scoot it back. That worked really well. It does take less coffee. The first time I use it, I put too much coffee. It really depends on how strong you like your coffee. Some like it real strong, some like it not so strong. My advise is to do a trial test the first time & go from there. It is really simple to use after you pay close attention to the video. It really is very pretty on my counter. Thank you Hamilton Beach for coming up with this coffee maker.

Unfortunately this was not our favorite coffee machine and we ended up returning it. There isn’t a water tank or reserve that holds extra water, you literally have to fill up your cup and pour it into the water holder each time you want a single brew. Also important to note, the machine brews extremely slow!

So far I've been happy with this coffee maker. It brews a great carafe or single cup. It's taken some getting used to after using a Keurig for so long, but I'm enjoying the extra counter space from not having two coffee makers. Something to be aware of is that the K-cup water reservoir only holds enough for one cup, so it needs to be refilled each time. It does come with a ground coffee holder for the k-cup side as well, but be mindful that it holds only a limited recommended amount of grounds.
