Love having both options and it serves the coffee hot! With the $10 off I bought the three year warranty (Sams does one year) so I figured I’m good if it breaks after reading reviews. Not too bulky. Need to measure K-Cup water but half the price of the Cuisinart.

The 1st thing to say is I had to have my husband drill a hole the same size as the metal plate for the single cup, just incase someone fails to put the empty cup under when it brews. The compartment is large enough to hold a cup so it prevents a counter full of coffee. It works well to fix the design flaw. As far as slow brewing, it's just long enough to heat the water. I guess I'm patient so it doesn't bother me. I got a 2nd one even though the 1st is still working just incase they stop making it. For the price it works well because I like mine in the pot so it's STRONG, and others use the single brew. I can still use the single brew, I just use a small cup. Many parts are dishwasher safe too.

I have had this coffee maker for six months. The only fault I have with it is, it stops on the k cup about once a week. It indicates the needles are stopped up. This is not true because I clean mine often. I think the problem is with the K CUP of coffee. I have found if I peck the cups on the counter, it works for longer periods. Also, unplug the cord until the pot cools off than plug it in, set the clock and try again. It usually works.

Wished I had, it would have saved me a lot of aggravation. Bought this pot because I like the concept of the two brewing options. I had an older Keruig maker which after many years finally gave up.Long story short this pot is a diseaster. It does not accommodate all pods, it is very noisy, at times the single service had more coffee grind in my cup than coffee, you have to be very careful to only put in the exact amount of water on the single side because it will run every drop out even if you only want a normal cup no control on amount. You have to add water every time you want a cup, not convenient, the concept is great but really falls really short of what I expected. On the good side the water really gets hot. I am returning this pot as soon as I can. No clock no timer. Only had 4 days.

Overall I like this product particulary the choice of the carafe or single cup. Closing the lid for the grounds cup placement may be difficult for some people since it requires a very firm push downward to close. Also, in order to open the brown brew basket lid requires a strong grip which has resulted the brew basket handle to begin to split. Further use will likely result in the handle completely breaking off.

Unit arrived promptly, was well packaged and easy to assemble. Instruction manual was straightforward and easy to read and follow. Set program for early morning brew time, set clock and enjoyed a carafe of coffee this morning without a hitch. Excellent workmanship evident throughout; oved the extras and features.

I read some pretty positive initial reviews of the system, but that is just it they were initial review which are pretty much useless. I have had this for three months and it was to replace 2 separate units and free up my counter space. I clean the nozzle on a regular basis and have ran decalcifer through it once a week. Even with normal maintenance the kcup side started having issues in 2 months. At first it was only brewing half the cup then you could run it a second time and it would finish, now it heats the water and then goes into protect mode. I am pretty confident that it is the pump because I can pull water through the head but it has failed completely now.

There is a hose in mine that started to leak, when inspecting it was disintegrating, I had been able to trim the hose and reattach it but t he hose inside should be upgraded, or make the hose readily available for replacement as as ive read about them it is really common and easy fix.

i wish i could get ahold of a live person to talk too,but no luck. i purchased the Hamilton beach 2 qway flex brew dec 12th,2022..on friday morning March 7th, the coffee pot was programmed to turn on at 8am..it did..after the brewing was done,all of a sudden there was a loud crash. i heard it from my bedroom.went to the kitchen where my coffee was done brewing and the pot had been pushed off of the maker and broke into pieces all over my kitchen floor with the brewed coffee..i have a video of the incident happening..someone could of got hurt very badly.i would like to get hamilton beach to e-mail me and let me know what we can do about this problem.

This coffee maker is slow and I am disappointed that you can only put a single cup of water at a time in the single cup brewer at a time. No water storage. Should have read the reviews first. Will sell at the next garage sale for pennies on the dollar.
