We had no major issues with this coffee maker, but overall the design isn’t great. If you’re making a single k-cup serving you have to add water for each cup. There is no reservoir. Also, if you’ve already made a pot of coffee and make a single cup it shuts the carafe warmer off. Overall just a poor design and not well thought out. We are returning and going with the Cuisinart version.

I would suggest you search the internet before you buy the Hamilton Beach FlexBrew. We bought the FlexBrew on November 11th from Sam’s Club. In less than 8 months, the reservoir could no longer hold water and would leak out quickly all over my countertop. Knowing it had a one year warranty, I contacted Hamilton Beach Customer Service and received a response that I need to cut the cord off, send them a picture of the cut cord, call them to pay $12.00 with a credit card and they will forward me a new unit in approximately 15 business days. I really believe this product need some to be recalled!!!

I'm happy with the product. My favorite feature is the programmable timer brew, I get up at 6:15am everday and when my alarm goes off and I dont feel like getting out of bed, once I hit snooze and start to smell in the air my coffee brewing, I just want to get up! Grab my coffee and go!

When attempting to make a single cup of coffee using a coffee pod, it is a real struggle to close the lid to start brewing. Sometimes it will close, but more often than not, it won't. I just give up and make a cup of tea using my teakettle. I tried calling the 800 number for assistance, but it is only a recording. Very disappointed.

I bought this coffee make last year in November. About 1 week ago, I noticed water all over my counter top. I noticed when I made coffee that water was coming out from the bottom of it. I took it back to Sam's Club yesterday and got my money back. It was working great until this happened.

I own a flexbrew for office with single serve feature only and it works great. I bought this unit for my home because it offers carafe for weekends or entertaining--a great idea! However, design of single serve feature was changed and does not work. No matter the brand of kcup, the coffee ends up full of grounds. After contacting Hamilton Beach, they sent me a replacement kcup holder. This was exactly the same part I already had, so no change in performance. I can't recommend this machine. Purchase either a drip coffeemaker or a single serve coffeemaker but the combo does not work.

We love this coffee maker. It replaced our Keurig. We used the carafe during the week and the single cup feature on weekends. I like the fact that it came with a gold single cup filter. I wish that it had one for the carafe. The only downside is that the single cup heats up much, much slower than a Keuring.

I love this machine, it makes a great cup of coffee. The only issues I have is that the single serving side takes a really long time to heat and ultimately brew. Also it's not very clear that the I/O button is used to stop the flow of water. There have been several overflows unfortunately. It's a learning curve for those who are used to Keurig machines. Different but still an excellent machine.

recd this as a gift almost a year ago.,, works perfect , seen other reviews about having a problem with k pods exploding in the single cup side . Need to say I had this when I firrst used this side and started then to press pod down on the needle that it sets on and this has never happened since as I always press it down before shutting the top,,, try it , it always works right for me

I was so hoping I would be one of the lucky ones who had their FlexBrew last for a few years, but I’m not. 1 year and 2 months later (just after the warranty expired of course), the single side stopped brewing and that’s the side we mainly used. I cleaned the needles, tried to run straight vinegar through it, nothing. It would sound like it was heating and then shut off, the water in the reservoir would be steaming hot, but it won’t dispense. I’m so tired of everything being disposable now.....
