Have had this coffee maker for roughly 2.5 years and I would have returned it after using a few times because the brewing process is very slow, but my dear hubby had purchased it as a gift.... The hot plate has cracked. The lid is warped (which makes me concerned that good grade plastic was not used.) The steam while brewing is ridiculously, a LOT and now I'm searching for a new coffee maker because one of our cabinets is showing signs of steam/water damage.

I wish Hamilton Beach would stop selling these. We are on our 3rd one and the last one just went out. According to Hamilton Beach,there is a tubing inside the machine that gets pinched and it cannot be fixed. The 1st when replaced I only had to pay shipping for a replacement. The last 2, they wold only give me a 50% discount. They’ve all lasted maybe pretty close to a year. I would avoid buying this at all cost. They’re just a waste of money. Now to find a coffee maker that lasts longer than a year!

Ok, I've had this exact coffee maker for YEARS, and loved it. Our old one "seemed" to be going out and since I am NOT a foo foo coffee person and my old one was PERFECT, I scrambled, thinking they were no longer being made. PANIC! (Yeah, I know, it's just a coffee pot)? Nope, THIS is THE coffee pot, (for me, and you)? It makes pots, pods, and "fill your thermos," all simple, easy, fast, and no fuss or worry. I can't remember exactly when we bought the first one, but it was at least 18 years, longer? As I said at the beginning, our coffee pot started working again and did for six months. My wife suggested I take the new one back, but I was so happy to have gotten it, I would have kept it for 18 more years, (longer)? In short (yeah, I know, sorry, nothing "short" about this review). If you want something that will work perfectly and last a LONG time, this is your COFFEE POT. BUY WITH CONFIDENCE AND ENJOY!

Having owned previous a Hamilton Beach coffee maker that worked flawlessly, I can say that upgrading to the Flex Brew was a breeze to set up and prepare for our first brew. Everything so far has worked well during the first cleaning and the controls are easy to understand and operate. It also helps if you familiarize yourself with all of the features and parts that come with your coffee maker. Another great product.

This has been sitting in a box for the last four months because it stopped working. The pod part just completely stopped working. I have a warranty on it, but no one will answer me on the warranty. I had protection put on it.. It's a great pot coffee pot when it works.

If you enjoy frustration along with coffee grounds in your coffee in the k-cup portion of your coffee to start the day, this is the coffee system for you. I clean it after every use but, it continually cuts off and the K-cup lid pops up I. The middle of the brew. You have to raise the lid, shut it again, then hit your power then brew button again. I absolutely hate this coffee maker and it's not even a month old yet.

this is my third in six years. i normally make 2 to 3 pots a day. in twenty five years if I get more than a year out of a coffee maker I feel good about it. My first one was 3 years, the scond about 3 years. I noticed on this new one the display is brighter. The other 2 displays were very dim.

Coffee made as a carafe or as a single cup has a plastic taste to it!

I purchased this product. It is wonderful!!!

Great coffee maker…however the heating plate is developing a crack.
