We've had this probably about a year and a half, and woke up to the same problem reported by others - water all over the counter top. Evidently, the "rigorous testing" is not like real world use. We really liked it otherwise, but I think we'll look at other options.

Everything we were looking for in a coffee maker. 12 cup or 12 oz brew (K-cup or loose grounds) options are awesome. AND the carafe is designed to not drip when you pour into your cup. One small "glitch" was that it doesn't come with a water filter...we had to order that separately....even though it shows it as part of the contents of the box.

This is my second one of these. The first one lasted 4-5 years then it developed a problem with the single cup maker. The first one we bought didn’t come with the k cup device. We could make a single cup using coffee grounds. This one did come with the K cup attachment and now we can use k cups or loose grounds! I often use the carafe to make several cups also. Great prorate a great price!

Oddly enough, I came across this machine at my fav location while looking for bakery goods. It has recently started to leak from the bottom and run slow. But given that I bought it in 2018/19, I think I have gotten my money worth from it. I have used this machine often for a variety of reasons (hot water, tea, hot coco, etc). So writing this review when I am looking for a replacement seems appropiate. Yup, I am buying it again. Just hope it is as great as the first one.

This thing was only 3 years old and started leaking water all over the counter. Looked up a YouTube video.... fixed it! Seems like Hamilton Beach is using a faulty water hose clamp that over time slowly wiggles off. We took off the sides (watch for the 4 screws that look like a Y and take those off first from the bottom using a small mini sized regular screwdriver). Pull off the sides, unscrew the back panel and lid where the water comes down over the grounds and there you will see a disconnected hose with a very lame clamp. Just shove it back on all the way and move up the clamp and NOW you don't need to BUY A NEW COFFEE MAKER!!! yay!!!!

Just received the coffee maker and am pretty pleased with the first few single brew cups. The one thing that bothered me was there not being a coffee filter for the carafe side of the package. You have to order one as an accessory. I would think that would be included since you cannot use it until you order or go buy one. Other than that I think we will be quite satisfied.

This coffee maker is stylish, high quality and feature-rich. Both the pot side and the single serve side work great. The reservoirs are easy to fill and have very visible gauges on the side. Controls are very straight-forward. We could not be happier with the operation or the taste of the coffee it makes. We use the single serve side to heat water for tea and hot chocolate as well.

This is the 4th machine we purchased and each unit lasts only about a year or so (just past warranty) and starts to leak. Great while it works, but …..When Hamilton Beach CO was contacted past warranty about leaks, they will not do anything at all but say sorry. Not worth the expense!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, I've had this exact coffee maker for YEARS, and loved it. Our old one "seemed" to be going out and since I am NOT a foo foo coffee person and my old one was PERFECT, I scrambled, thinking they were no longer being made. PANIC! (Yeah, I know, it's just a coffee pot)? Nope, THIS is THE coffee pot, (for me, and you)? It makes pots, pods, and "fill your thermos," all simple, easy, fast, and no fuss or worry. I can't remember exactly when we bought the first one, but it was at least 18 years, longer? As I said at the beginning, our coffee pot started working again and did for six months. My wife suggested I take the new one back, but I was so happy to have gotten it, I would have kept it for 18 more years, (longer)? In short (yeah, I know, sorry, nothing "short" about this review). If you want something that will work perfectly and last a LONG time, this is your COFFEE POT. BUY WITH CONFIDENCE AND ENJOY!

I have had two earlier versions of this Hamilton Beach coffee maker and neither one lasted. Now the single brew is a separate tank and works very good. I normally have a carafe of 10 cups in the morning and my wife loves her specialty cups one at a time. Have had it a month or more and have had no problems.
