[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the size of the insulated food jar. My only complaints would be that it's a little bit hard to open/close for my little 4 year old. And if the food jar is not closed all the way the entire box won't close. I will just send this box inside a slightly larger lunch bag so that my kid doesn't have to worry about closing it all the way. Otherwise, it's great! Fits a lot & stays cold/hot

Out of the box it took me about 5 minutes to just get the inside insert off of the top piece. It was like suctioned into it. Then the top sorta takes the insert with it when you try and open it. There's honestly too many pieces for one lunch box. My son also said it didn't really keep his lunch cold. I did wash the inserts and closing them now inside the box seems a lot harder.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The box was sturdy and the portions are great for food. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because the lid of the food jar is hard to open for my 5 year old and the teachers asked me to send her with one that is easier to open.

Cute and sleek design. Unfortunately the liner sticks to the lid and it's extremely hard to get it to come off. My 4 year old daughter said she has to ask a teacher daily to help her. I also struggle opening it. Only giving two stars because it is cute but ease of use would be zero stars for me.

Designs looks good. I mean my kids love the charms. Thats the only reason I wont return it. Its super hard to close especially with the young kids. The jars are so hard to close and open and the lunch box its self its so hard to close. My kids end up bringing home the open lunch box because they can't close it. Even with out the jars inside its hard to close. I wont buy it again.

However, the food jar is to wide for my five year olds hands to grip the bottom half and twist the top. If it was a little less wide or possible a bit taller to give her more grip space for her little hands it would have been a PERFECT lunchbox and I mean PERFECT.

its cute container and i love the ice pack can go in the top... but its wayyy too difficult for my 5 year old to open. It often gets stuck and is sometimes to hard for me to get the seal to break... he didnt eat lunch today because he was scared to ask for help and couldnt get the seal un done... he wont be using this container anymore. i had high hopes for it but its a miss!

My daughter loves so many things about this lunchbox, pink and purple are her favorite colors, she loves the space availability for charms, the spacious separate compartments and the ice pack addition. The food jar will take some practice as she does have a hard time opening and closing that on her own but overall she is super excited to use her ello lunchbox as she enters into her very first year of school!

Loved everything about it (great size, fits a sandwich, leak proof for our needs, came with ice pack, super cute and customizable, has a handle, lays flat when you open it) BUT it was too difficult for my nearly 6yo to close on her own, the tray often stuck to the top and she couldn't pull it down on her own, ice pack pops/falls out easily at times).
