I love the very well instalation. However, it is heavy and bulky for my five year old. I love that I could remove the tray to wash it. It is very well made. Currently, I made accommodations by removing the top part that has the ice pack. He can open it easily by himself, which is a bonus. This is his 3rd bengo because he has difficulties opening the other two.

The bento box holds a lot of food inside and the handle is a perfect touch. I would love to review other products and share more of your company for others.

The vibrant colors makes her eager to eat and find what's inside. I love the hot/cold feature of the box with the insulated container and its ability to be removed. The included ice pack is an absolute bonus!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the size of the insulated food jar. My only complaints would be that it's a little bit hard to open/close for my little 4 year old. And if the food jar is not closed all the way the entire box won't close. I will just send this box inside a slightly larger lunch bag so that my kid doesn't have to worry about closing it all the way. Otherwise, it's great! Fits a lot & stays cold/hot

However, the food jar is to wide for my five year olds hands to grip the bottom half and twist the top. If it was a little less wide or possible a bit taller to give her more grip space for her little hands it would have been a PERFECT lunchbox and I mean PERFECT.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The steel canister is difficult to open. The snap on the lunchbox itself is not easy for a child to open and close. My child had his lunch spill out due to not being snapped properly. Needs redesign/remanufcturing in both fronts.

we are long time Ello lovers- and were excited for these lunchboxes because they seem so functional. I specifically got them for the thermos option. Now twice when we have sent warm food to school with my daughter ( she and her teachers) are unable to open the thermos. When she gets home I try, and its hard-- it's not until I run it under warm water that it will open with a lot of work. Feel like these are kind of a waster for us now seeing as we have to purchase new Thermos for both our kids!

Liner gets stuck to the top constantly. I can’t use for school lunches as it’s really hard to use and since the liner sticks, lunch has spilled everywhere. Not worth it which stinks because we were excited to be able to decorate with croc charms as my kiddo wanted.

Also, big bonus everything is dishwasher safe. Only reason it isn't a 5 star review is because I want to be able to buy their insulated food jar separately.

The lunchbox gets sealed too tight. My 8 year old daughter says she has to pull down on it for the box to open. It's also too hard to close. The latch ended up breaking off. The thermos also gets sealed too tight and very difficult for adults to open.
