Thank you for your message! Happy to provide some insight. Our canisters are filled by weight rather than volume. Due to the nature of the powder product, some canisters may have a denser batch of collagen, resulting in an amount that appears to be ""lower"" in the canister, or even a more loosely-packed batch that appears to be ""higher"" in the canister! However, all of our canisters are filled to the exact weight and number of servings as listed! When your canister is filled, the powder does indeed full most of the space in the canister - as the powder settles during transport, however, the powder will fall to a lower amount and leave extra room in the top of the canister by the time it arrives to you. To account for this, we provide an average fill line on our canisters indicated by a small line at the edge of your product's label and is labeled ""FILL LINE"".
