Love VITAL PROTEINS- blue box. My 80 year old Aunt seen it on my pantry shelf and told me she has taken this for years and swears by it. She always scores well both for bone density and golf. Lol. You should see her skin, it looks fabulous. Apparently Vital Proteins is a family thing. My niece sent me a box as she swears by it as well and wanted me to try this after I had some medical issues causing thinning hair. I am 1/2 way through the box and I have nails. I can only contribute it to Vital Proteins, I haven't had nice nails in years. The healthy hair is starting to happen as well. I know you're taking a lot of flack for the new containers - I just want to say, I really appreciate the new containers and especially appreciate that they're biodegradable. They really aren't as difficult to open as people are making them out to be... simply follow your instructions on the container and the container will easily open. It's not that difficult. Love love love this product and love the new containers!!!

Flavorless, clean collagen peptides without additional ingredients. First time buyer and had zero issues opening it. Just pull the lid up by the lip, and then remove the circular strip. The opening instructions are very clear, for those that bothered to read them.

I take this product to give me extra protein in diet even tho I also use a protein powder drink in my effort to get more protein in my diet. I weight train along with other types of exercise and feel I need it. I'm not that big a meat eater either so it helps in that way.. I know it is not a complete protein but it counts. I do think the statements it strengthens nails, provides joint support and hair growth are exaggerated. I've used daily for two years and none of those statements are true in my case. I mix in coffee so it is a quick intake which I line.

I have been using this product for several months now and am pleased with the results. I have noticed that the Unflavored powder dissolves much better than the Chocolate flavor. It would be nice if the Chocolate dissolved like the Unflavored does. I like to add it to my morning coffee but it clumps too much.

I have been using vital proteins for 6 years with great results. However, the new packaging is horrible. I have suffered through this packaging for the past year + and over it. Looking to switch to another brand for this reason only. Vital Proteins leadership.... please change it back to the original packaging. Thank you

Great product. Terrible packaging. If you have any loss of hand strength or dexterity you may not be able the container or will be need pliers or a hacksaw. I ruined the container and had to put in canister. I expect they will respond with an automated message about listening to the customer and taking their feedback seriously. They won't. It's a cost savings measure.

I've used this product for years and really like it. HOWEVER: the new paperboard packaging is a terrible change. It is so incredibly difficult to open that we needed to get pliers out to get it to budge, then the entire thing tore. I had to find another canister to transfer the powder into which made a huge mess. I appreciate the strides to protect the environment, however this design is not the solution. I won't be purchasing this anymore (sadly) until the design is improved upon.

This made my hair grow like crazy in a bad way. I already had thick unmanageable hair and now it's so unruly and has permanently altered the direction my hair grows, creating cowlicks and different bends in my hair. I wish I never took it. I thought it would improve my skin and nails but never saw those benefits, instead I started getting new baby hairs after a year and was only taking half the dose. When the short hairs stuck up I kept taking the collagen for another 6-10 months thinking it would help them grow in faster but instead new hairs kept sprouting up. I had no idea this would happen, I thought it would just grow existing hair faster/stronger. I stopped taking it 5 years ago and am still dealing with the effects today. Hair grows in cycles so the first baby hairs have already grown out but the second, third, 4th wave of strands are still at various stages of growth and will probably take another 1-2 years before all the shortest hairs can fully reach ponytail. Arm hair also grows thicker as well as bikini hair that I lasered decades ago. My hairline and sideburns have come forward which looks strange on me. It would prob look weird to laser, bc I think my hairline was softer before, like baby hairs on the edge blending into regular hair. now the baby hairs are thick so if I get rid of them it would create sharp edges. You can see some are growing in middle of forehead and past hairline. (I naturally have a widows peak) bobby pins don't hold thin strands, I constantly have to slick them back but they'll still pop straight out when it's windy. I look ridiculous at the beach. These short hairs drive me absolutely crazy, I don't know what to do, it's SO annoying, my hair used to be easy to wake up and quickly style. But now I always look disheveled. Be careful with this supplement!!!

I have used this collagen product for years and until recently found it to be highly effective and made noticeable improvements to my hair and nails. Your new formula suggests I use 3x the prior recommendation and it has absolutely no effect on my hair, skin or nails. Very disappointing. Your formula change, I assume for higher profits, is totally ineffective.
