Great product and have been using for almost 10 years…smooth. No taste. Mixes well in my hot coffee every morning; however, today my container had big brown chunks. I spread it on a paper towel to make sure it wasn't bugs or something, but it looks like brown crystals. I've NEVER had that before. My container expires in 2029 so it's still good. Was there a change in formula?

I have used this collagen product for years and until recently found it to be highly effective and made noticeable improvements to my hair and nails. Your new formula suggests I use 3x the prior recommendation and it has absolutely no effect on my hair, skin or nails. Very disappointing. Your formula change, I assume for higher profits, is totally ineffective.

This review is for the new type of packaging. I have been using this product for years, this has been the best collagen on the market and used to rate it 5 stars. I recently bought the new packaging and I was horrified about the smell, it made me want to throw up. What happened to the formula that it suddenly started smelling so bad? The moment I opened the box I got a whif, my hands would get all sticky and stinky after touching the scoop that had a powder on it too, and I could taste and smell it in my coffee. The box was not compromised in any way and it had a long expiry date. Never had this issue with this collagen powder before in the plastic packaging.

Lost product due to new container. I appreciate the desire to reduce exposure to plastics, but the lid was difficult to open and then was pushed down into the canister. It is not a solid lid and when I grabbed the can and dropped it, I lost a lot of the product. Maybe there is a better design out there??

Product is great. Packaging sucks if you have hand arthritis. The pull tab is teensy and hard to grub. Even if you grub it, it doesn't pull easily. They could fix this but won't. Save yourself time ….just get a knife to open it

I tried this new packaging when it first came out, and it tasted like cardboard in my coffee, unless I add cream, which I don't. I tried it again this month, and it still tastes like cardboard.

I like the product, but the packaging is terrible. I stored it in my pantry with my protein powder and other powders and I opened it to find little tiny brown bugs in it. The sealing on the packaging is terrible. But I like the product

I have a subscription they've recently made the container smaller and didn't alert customers. Shrinkflation. I like the product and have been using for a long time but expensive.

I've been using this product for 10 years on a daily basis. I'm soon to be 74 in April and I have barely one wrinkle on my face. My sisters who are from 7 to 11 years younger than I have more wrinkles than I do and they comment on my skin all the time. I keep telling them it's from this product and also my skin care regiment. One thing I need to say though, is that the new packaging is really bad. It's so difficult to open, however, it doesn't bother me too much because I store it in an airtight glass container upon opening it. But seriously - ya gotta fix that packaging! Love your product - I'm a very satisfied customer.

I am a longtime user of Vital Proteins. Unfortunately, with the switch to the crappy cardboard containers, I am now looking for another brand. I am disabled from a stroke and have reduced functionality in one hand/arm. I simply cannot open the new packaging without totally destroying it. The packaging design is one of the poorest I've ever seen. Oddly, it seems to affect the taste, too. This batch of collagen tasted kind of off.
