- 5 out of 5 stars review10/26/2024This inverter generator was the largest output I could find and being a Westinghouse product, I believed the quality would be better than little known or unknown internet brands. Upon unboxing, the product exceeded my expectations. The quality of parts and manufacturing craftsmanship appears to be top notch. Packaging was more than adequate to protect the product in transit. The Quick Start Guide and User Manual documentation are well written and detailed well. I haven't been able to use the inverter yet except for initial start up and testing. All went well. Can't wait for the power to go out to put this to use :) . Highly recommend buying this generator if you require the high wattage output it provides.
Robust output backed by a trusted brand
Daniel_DOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review5/5/2025We bought this inverter generator a few days ago and are very glad to prepare for its use. The product came well-packaged with easy to understand instructions. This generator has been well recommended by our electrician. We're in the process of procuring the necessary extension cord and accessories and test it in the next few days.
Well-Packaged, Easy to Assemble
SeejayteeOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 4 out of 5 stars review12/14/2024Picked up this inverter generator today. set up was very easy. Will fire it up when time permits. Need to be able to run it for a few hours for break in. Did a lot of research before deciding on the Westinghouse brand. Had a lot less negative comments then others along with lots of positive comments.

Anonymous 58Originally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review4/23/2025I purchased this generator to replace an older smaller one. The size is quite a bit larger but not the sound! It is noticeably louder but for the amount of power added I don’t mind. This generator will play multiple roles for me, used for bowfishing and running all of my equipment, to power our camper whenever we boondock, or back up power supply for my house if the power goes out. Being dual fuel makes it nice. I plan to run nothing but ethanol free gas but if we are without power for an extended time I have multiple large propane tanks! No more freezing when the power goes out!
Powerhouse!
Originally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review1/7/2025I purchased this generator days before the snow/freezing rain event of January 5 2025. I set it up and connected it to a propane tank, after filling it with the oil provided. Starting the generator was effortless with the electric start and with the remote control fob provided. I connected a portable space heater for load while running. This generator runs smoother and quieter than other smaller generators. It's hard to believe how quiet it is. At this time of writing this review the snow storm wasn't as bad as expected so there wasn't a need for its use.

WB2025Originally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review2/27/2025I bought this to have a backup for when our power goes out which happens often. It is amazingly quiet and easy to run. Silly to say but I'm looking forward to our power going out so I can smile and know that I won't have to worry about losing food or getting cold!
Very quiet
sassigirlOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 4 out of 5 stars review4/4/2025Generator arrived in good condition. Set up was easy and straightforward. Engine started fine. Generator still in the break-in phase so haven't had the opportunity to fully test but much quieter then my previous unit & based on what've seen I don't anticipate any issues.
So Far So Good
Rex HOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review1/30/2025I am interested in this generator but it would have to fit in a specific space. Is the a diagram that shows specific dimensions? I really am most interested to k ow of the 30.5L dimensions includes the folding handle. And is so, how long is the body of the generator without the handle?

Keith Family BBQOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 4 out of 5 stars review6/18/2025I’m on hour 10 of break-in, so I’ve only run it up to 2,300 watts. Seems solid so far. The only issue is that the starter stays engaged around 5 seconds after the engine turns over. It’s not enough of an issue for me to deal with any sort of a claim, but it’s an issue nonetheless.
So far so good
BmclaneOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 4 out of 5 stars review12/23/2024Had trouble with the first start but then realized it's not a auto choke. The generator is far quitter than I ever expected it to be.Ony issue 2 issues I can think of are sort of nitpicks but finding reviews on this specific unit befor buying was very hard to do. It seems like everywhere that sells Westinghouse equipment (Amazon, Lows, Homedepot, etc) all just groups the reviews together. You can look up information on this inverter and you might be reading a review of a completely different unit also the instruction manual that comes with it is not very informative at all and is full of grammar and spellingerrors. As far as the unit, its really better than I expected.
More than expected
ChathatOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review9/12/2024I was looking for a generator that can power my whole house and that was quiet enough so not to upset the other owners in my community . It was very easy to put it together and was much lighter in weight then any other generator with the same amount of power I looked at. It started right up and was very quiet compared to the other generators in my community.

Dakota54Originally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review9/13/2024Receive generator yesterday (two days after ordering). Received in good condition. Installed wheels, pads, oil and handle. Connected battery. Very sturdy, but heavy. Will start after receiving fuel. Can expand review after starting and running the generator but expect it to operate well.
Easy setup, just heavy for one person.
DT2024Originally posted onwestinghouse.com - 3 out of 5 stars review8/24/2024When I unpacked this yesterday, the plastic bag that it was in had quite a bit of oil inside. After removing the bag, found that the cap on the oil drain hose was never secured. There was oil on the side cover, rear cover, and the shield on the bottom. I spent about 2 hours, mostly on removing all of the panels so I could clean them, along with wiping down the frame and other components. I just ran it for the first time and was extremely happy with how quiet it was. Enclosed is a picture of the shipping bag and the bottom pan.

Ed700Originally posted onwestinghouse.comeCommHello, thank you for letting us know about this, we are genuinely sorry to hear about it. I have passed your feedback to our ... - 4 out of 5 stars review9/10/2024I have run it for about 3 hours to break it in. Have 2 more to go. I tried the ECO which is to slow the rpm, but it has e zero effect! This is not good. While I was running it I plugged in a 120-vote box window fan to blow any fumes away and make a bit of a load. But after 30 minutes the fan stopped, I moved the plug to the wall outlet, but still no run. I got another 120 Vote Box fan and plugged it in, 90 minutes later it also stopped! Moved the plug to the wall nothing! Now I am concerned. So, now I am waiting for a call back from Westinghouse.
It read a lot and got this one.
Capt-gilOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review4/12/2025I purchased this as a whole home backup generator and it has everything I need. I was surprised to learn that a trickle charger is included. Nice. The only disappointment was discovering that since I live at 6800 feet, I need to purchase a high-altitude kit. Seems like that should be made more clear. Regardless, this appears to be everything I need!
Completely satisfied
CORedhawkOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review3/28/2025This high output portable generator/inverter was just what I needed to set up a whole house backup power system for a 100 amp service panel with an automatic transfer switch. The total cost was one third the quoted price of a big name whole house system. The big name system also required an expensive service contract to validate their extended warranty coverage. The iGen came delivered on a pallet in a very sturdy box with absolutely no damage. The unpacking and setup documentation was first rate and very accurately matched the unit which made it easy to follow. Everything you need for setup is included, the hardware was of very good quality, and even the wrenches and oil were included. After adding fuel, the unit started and ran wit...
High output inverter with great features
PoweredUpAndHappyOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review2/1/2024I bought this a week ago and I must say this is the generator / inverter is the best for me. It modulates the motor following power demande and thus reduces the noise a lot. Dual fuel, gas and propane wow. Maximum power is 11Kw with gas! All this at a great price. Bravo Westinghouse!
Great Features!
JeCoOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review11/14/2024Just recently purchased the iGen1100DFc and all is well... works flawlessly and quieter than expected. I am able to supply power to my whole home through a 30-amp interlock switch at my main panel. All my major appliances as well as lights and plugs are all operational. I do have gas heat but use an electric range. Some discretion on heavier loads operating simultaneously is advised. Will definitely not use the range and electric dryer at the same time.

7blaneOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review9/24/2024I wanted a generator that could run on propane especially for the refrigerator, freezer, tv and lights when the electricity goes off which it frequently does in my area. After a lot of research I purchased the Westinghouse inverter generator 11000DFc in September 2024. These features sold me on it: dual fuel, electric and remote, capacity to run large appliances, ability to run several hours using less fuel, quieter than a gas generator. My propane gas company hooked it up to the propane tank used for the house yesterday and this seems to be working good. I am thrilled that they were able to connect it to the larger tank and I won't have to depend on having gasoline on hand when the power goes out! An electrician will be coming in a few...

Ms. MaryOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review5/2/2025Bought this Nov 2024 to quickly recharge 4 Ecoflow Delta Pro Ultra (6kw each) house batteries via 240v 30A. Able to recharge these bad boys in 4.5 hours. If the sun isnt out, I can faithfully rely on this inverter to recharge my house batteries for months without power. And if the house batteries should ever fail, it can run everything by the 50A. Love the auto start, dual fuel capability and the ability to parallel hookup another inverter for even more power! If you have the Delta Pro Ultras, this is the perfect companion.
Fantastic Inverter/ Generator!
