The real test is yet to come….

Received product in good condition. After adding oil and connecting battery and propane supply the unit started and ran as expected, have not used it in power outage as of yet. Directions are clear and straightforward, the generator seems well made with plenty of features.

Great features and quality

I bought this generator for the electric start, the inverter technology, the lower running decibels and the ability to run on propane. I unpacked it and started it up and was impressed with the electric starter, the availability of remote starting with a FOB, and the much lower sound impact. It seems to be a very nicely designed and well-built machine.

AWESOME MACHINE

JUST GOT IT A WEEK AGO. I FEEL IT WAS SUCH A SMART BUY, COMPACT, EASY TO MOVE AROUND, MANY OPTIONS WITH THE TRI-FUEL, I PLAN TO RUN ON NG ONLY. REMOTE START, SAFTEY SHUT DOWNS, LOTS OF POWER AND CONFIGUATION OPTIONS. A BRILLIANTLY DESIGNED MACHINE. I WILL BE INSTALLING A TRANSFER SWITCH TO POWER MOST OF THE HOUSE, CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEXT POWER OUTAGE.

Well designed, flexible, and well built.

This is a well-made and easy to operate generator. With many useful features. It runs quietly and efficiently. It suits my purpose as a backup power source for my home. I really appreciate the flexibility it offers and the thoughtfulness of the little touches, like. The battery charger, propane connector. and the tool kit.

Gen8200TFC

I'm super impress and satisfy with Westinghouse Support Department , report an issue with the original purchase and they were very understanding, and helpful for me to get the replacement on time before our Trip. Prep the unit this morning by connecting the Battery, add oil and fuel and from start to run for an hour with out any issue Thanks for making my Day

Powerful, Reliable, and Easy to Use

I purchased the Westinghouse iGen8200TFc back in February and it has been an excellent investment. I’ve already used it several times to power my entire home, and it has performed flawlessly. One of my favorite features is the push-button electric start. It makes the generator incredibly easy to operate, which gives me peace of mind knowing my wife can start it without any trouble if I’m not home. After installing a soft starter on my HVAC system, the generator can run the air conditioner along with the rest of the house without any problems. The iGen8200TFc delivers an impressive combination of power, convenience, and reliability. I’m extremely pleased with my purchase and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for dependable whole-home backup power.

Whole house backup

Be sure to add the enclosed oil BEFORE using. Manual contains a lot of repeated warning. The unit requires a break in, so be sure to read that. Recommend using LPG or NG, using gas requires more work, (need to drain old gas if used infrequently). Ethanol is gas Is not recommended. Adding oil is a bit hard, need a funnel with a narrow opening. The remote is attached to the manual starter handle on the right side.

Powerful enough for what I need.

Tri-fuel feature is what I wanted. In the case of a disaster gasoline may not be available. Long time power outage could require replacing the propane tank. The natural gas will not run out. (of course an earthquake or an atomic bomb could even disrupt Natural Gas)

GREAT REPLACEMENT OF OLDER NOISY UNIT.

I purchased this to replace an older generator that was still working but had become too loud to tolerate. After hours of research on line and reading reviews I determined that this would meet my requirements. I purchased it and it was delivered fast and in good condition, other than one of the side covers not being installed correctly. It is such a relief to have the comfort of having a quieter option when it is needed. Another factor is that I can run it on propane and not have to mess with filling a gas tank !
