Trifuel

Works great! Westinghouse generator delivers reliable power, easy setup, and strong performance during outages or outdoor use. It runs efficiently, starts quickly, and handles heavy loads well. Noise is moderate, build quality feels solid, and value makes it a dependable backup solution.

Looks good but haven't started it yet

The generator looks substancial and what I expected. I did considerable research and for an 8K watt it got very good reviews. I am registering it now to get a free cover and in order to do so I have to fill out a review. The free cover is for an OPEN frame generator so hope it fits the enclosed unit well.

Quiet, straightforward to use

After suffering through an extended power outage after an ice storm, I decided I had to get a generator. This Westinghouse tri-fuel generator is quieter than my neighbors' generators and is very straightforward to use. While I tested it with propane, I will get a natural gas line set up for it. The pull-out handle on the bottom front makes it manageable to move this.

Easy to operate.

I bought this just a week before a random power outage and so glad I did. Connecting to a propane tank was safe and easy, and the push button start was fantastic. My whole house transfer switch was already done, so we had this backup power running in less than 10 minutes. The plastic housing is great as it protects the inner workings from other nearby things in my storage shed.

iGen8200TFc - A breeze to set up and start

The iGen8200TFc Tri-Fuel Inverter Generator was incredibly easy to set up, from unboxing to the initial startup. The packaging kept everything secure and undamaged. The Quick Start Guide manual provides Before Starting instructions, followed by a 5-step Starting Procedure, and then the Shutdown Procedure, all on a single 11 x 13 sheet. On the other side of the sheet is a maintenance Guide, which includes Mechanical Specifications, a Maintenance Schedule, and information about the engine oil and spark plug. At the bottom is a support telephone number and their website address. By the way, I did not need to use them. There is also a comprehensive 31-page user manual, complete with a table of contents that will accurately guide you to the information you need. After reading the safety instructions, I then poured in the oil and used the quick-connect to connect the battery. I resecured the access panels, connected the propane, and turned on a few switches. Here it goes, --- I pressed the ON button on the remote start key FOB. It started, and I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet the generator sounded. All the controls were conveniently located on a single, easy-to-access panel—I was really impressed by how efficiently everything was arranged. Now I can sleep peacefully knowing I'm fully prepared for the next power outage.

Powerful, Quiet, and Reliable — Great Purchase So

I recently purchased the iGen8200TFC generator and have been very impressed so far. The tri‑fuel capability was a big selling point for me, and it's great knowing I can run it on gasoline, propane, or natural gas depending on what's available. Setup was straightforward, and the electric/remote start works perfectly. For a generator of this size, it's surprisingly quiet and runs very smoothly. It has plenty of power to handle everything I need during an outage without any issues. The unit is definitely on the heavier side, but the wheels make it manageable. Overall, it feels very well built and reliable, which is exactly what I was looking for in a backup power solution. So far, I'm extremely satisfied with this purchase and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a powerful, flexible, and dependable generator.

Looks very good

Just bought it so hard to say how it works, but very quiet and easy to setup. I dont like that they are forcing us to leave a review when we register the product - I have not yet fully tested the product!

Nice feature set. Repeatedly dies after 10 seconds

Out of the box repeatedly dies after 10 seconds. With nothing connected the overload light comes on. Support says the inverter board needs to be replaced. Hope this will resolve the issue.
