I bought this generator in February 2026, and promptly used it during two power outages. It is a very quite generator for it's size; I can't hear it from my living room when it's running on the back patio. The tri fuel model is perfect for fuel options. Highly recommend.

Just received today. Hope to complete unpacking tomorrow and begin breaking in. Already impressed with the provided tools in a handy pouch and the provided screw-in oil fill funnel. The installed oil drain hose should eliminate most of the mess of draining the oil. Unit appears solid and built for heavy use.

I purchased this generator as a whole house back up for storm season. I don’t plan to run my air conditioner with it so it has plenty of power to run everything that I need. Set up was very simple and it’s really a nice generator. It will be all that I need.

Bought 2 months ago and have only run the generator once so far using gasoline. The generator was also only under minor load running a small air compressor and charging a phone (ran with no issues). I will complete a full load evaluation once I have the circuity completed to connect it to my home. Overall very easy set up and operation. Clarification in the manual would be appreciated as to if its safe to leave gas in the tank during extended storage and if it is just necessary to drain the carb. ECO mode is a very nice feature to match the needed engine rpm to the load on the generator. Running it with and without it on makes a noticeable difference in total run time for he same amount of fuel when it is below peak load.

Just received my new iGen8200TFc filled it with oil & fired it up without drama. Plan to have a transfer switch installed so I can run it off my natural gas grill valve.

Very quiet generator. Haven't had a chance to actually use it yet, but added the oil and fuel started it with the remote and pull start, fired right uo!

So far, so good. It was easy to set up and ran perfectly. Haven't had to really put it to the test yet and won't until we lose power to the house. But I was impressed with what came in the box with it. Everything, including oil, and LPG connector hose (if needed). Manual very easy to read with visuals and the machine itself is well marked. A electric battery charger included! Battery is easy to access and is easily replaceable with market models.

I RESEARCHED GENERATORS FOR TWO WEEKS AND THIS GENERATOR MET ALL MY NEEDS AND THEN SOME. THE TRI FUEL IS A BIG PLUS. IT ENABLES YOU TO TEST WITHOUT ADDING GAS WHICH WILL SIT THERE UNTIL THE NEXT HURRICANE COMES OR HAVE TO BE DRAINED. THE HANDLE DESIGN IS GENIUS. THE OVERALL WEIGHT WAS IMPORTANT. ON AVERAGE 100 LBS. LIGHTER THAN IT ENABLES MY WIFE TO MANEUVER THE GENERATOR. AND IT'S QUIET.

It took me quite a while researching various medium to large inverter generators before i finally found a unit that was very highly rated. Most inverter generator brands had lackluster reviews. I look at the comments of the unsatisfactory owners. With this iGen8200TFc, there were so few negative reviews, it convinced me to purchase one. Out of the box, I added oil, connected and charged the internal battery, connected up the propane hose, and while the original start took 3 tries, it now starts virtually immediately. And the added bonus is the electric start key fob. I have it under my detached, but roofed gazebo, So when we do have an outage, I can start, stop this generator from inside my home. The Westinghouse generators have that strong industrial strength look. I am used to seeing them at construction sites, so the reputation is definitely well known. Prior to this purchase, we have had 4 outages due to midwest storms this spring and summer. Now we are really ready. Very happy with my purchase so far!
