- 5 out of 5 stars review2/10/2025Just got the 11000dfc set up and it started right up, the electrician who installed the transfer switch was amazed at how quiet it was. It worked great once we figured out the battery on button. This is for home back up when the electric company turns the power off and sure could’ve used it a few weeks ago but now I’m ready for the next power shut off!
So far, great
esr13Originally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review9/15/2024while it has not been put in use as yet for power failure it is of high quality. It was easy to assemble though I little heavy for me (I am nearly 70) once together it rolls easy. Access to the oil stick was easy and with the included funnel it was no problem filling with the oil. Oil is provided however since it can get quite cold here in Wis I chose to put 5w-30 instead since our temps can get well below zero in winter months and chart recommended that for lower temps. I am having a transfer switch installed to power up my well pump and a few other circuits which this generator should have no problem with its rated 11000 watts. Most household appliances run on gas and do not care to power up AC so this unit will perform great.
Looks good
LafootOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review7/23/2024I own several generators for my business. This is the most powerful and the quietest generator I own. Out of the box, they provide you with every tool needed to assemble. You only have to put on the handle, 2 wheels, and bumper stops. They are very easy to assemble, less than 5 minutes, plus the tools they provide are actually good tools to use in the future. Then the kicker is, they provide you with the oil and funnel to fill up the unit. So many generators you have to connect the battery in a painful way. This is a simple disconnect plug. 100 stars for out of the box assembly.
Powerful, Quiet, & Ready Out Of The Box
GreenawaltOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review7/8/2025Bought This Inverter Generator for our Business and it's a wonderful product. very quiet and very Good on Fuel. As of now we've only used it with regular gas, but We're pretty sure that it is also good with propane Gas. really recommend this awesome Generator.

RGV 956Originally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review5/19/2025After assembling, we charged it up using gas. It fired up right away. Turn of main breaker and tested the inverter with it's own given 50amt breaker line and the power early switched to the inverter power source. The only thing we haven't tested is our 2.5ton central AC. We're going to wait when and if the power failure happens here in Florida this coming hurricane season.
Great feature with options of fuel or gas use
Jerusalem SousaOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review2/11/2024This is our first generator, and set up, manual, operations were all very easy to understand. We have had it a week and it is performing great. We are using it to power a barn/workshop for now, but anticipate also using as a back up power supply for our off grid solar powered home.
Smooth setup, easy to follow instruction manual
JemyOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 4 out of 5 stars review4/21/2025Purchased for the occasional troubling emergency usage. Dual fuel only intended for propane use. All parts came as described. Subtracted one star because the battery does not maintain charge and requires trickle charging. Not sure why since it did run for a few hours, but start up a week later had to do the charge of the battery. Also took off because the peg legs are burdensome is 187 pounds and quite heavy to roll. Four wheels much better option. Otherwise, started it up properly runs relatively quietly can take gasoline as well as propane, puts out adequate amount of wattage to run my entire house. I have adapted a whole house transfer switch to the breaker box and a line from the main propane feed to the generator to replace the portab...
Powerful clean option inverter generator
UlaaOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review5/18/2025My husband and I purchased this Generator after 15 days of no power after the Northern Michigan Ice Storm. It is built like a tank and easy to follow all the Manufactures videos on set up and maintenance. We are currently waiting for our electrician to install a transfer switch. We are very Happy with our purchase and hope we will never need to use it. Peace of mind is priceless after living 15 days in the Winter with no power. Or home was 40 degrees and we were terrified our Animals would freeze. We never want to go through an experience like this again so we invested in this Beautiful Westinghouse inverter Generator IGen11000DFc.
Survived Northern Michigan Ice Storm
Jim & JodiOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review6/5/2025I just received the new generator and was able to get it started with propane fuel. This generator offers great features that include push button electric start, remote start/stop key fob, eco mode, 2 GFCI 120v outlets, 1 30A outlet with breaker switch, 1 50A outlet with breaker switch, parallel operation connections, carbon monoxide auto-shutoff, and digital data center. I can use either propane or gasoline. Overall I'm very satisfy with the purchase.
Great Features!
blueapsaraOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review7/12/2024I bought this on July 8th And just finished setting it up. Currently going through The process of break-in procedures, but it’s So much quieter than my Generac, portable gas generator love the digital data center on this generator and the features with the power output I shouldn’t have any issues powering everything in my house
Powerful generator! Easy set up.
Bbar27Originally posted onwestinghouse.com - 4 out of 5 stars review5/24/2025Recently purchased and generator appears ti be a great value. Started up with no problems and ran well. Only issue is the placement of the engine oil drain plug. Not sure how to drain the oil since there is a cover under the engine that will be completely flooded with oil. Manual shows a tube extending out from the drain but does not provide any instruction on how it is used and is not included with the generator.
General review
Rhody666Originally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review6/5/2025Talk about quality! The tools provided for simple wheel and handle installation are good enough for my toolbox! I purchased the iGEN11000 Inverter Generator and am very please with the quality fittings, electronics and everything you need to power up and get going when the lights go out.
Quality Quality Quality
bigguy57Originally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review2/24/2024Shipment was great and the item is definitely heavy but to be expected. However with the large no flat wheels and handle it makes it super easy to move around. We haven't hooked it up to the house yet, but packaging and all included accessories were top notch and direction and very easy to follow.
Large and in Charge!
Husker123Originally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review7/26/2024I performed the startup on the IGEN11000DFC and everything went well. I ran it on propane and will continue due to less maintenance, no long term storage of propane concerns and the ability to run it continuously without shutting it down to add fuel. I have a dual automatic regulator & cylinder setup on a large cart. The generator dB level is not bad. Sorry, I did take a reading while I ran it.
Great Inverter Generator
The iGEN11000DFcOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review6/17/2025Super easy to assemble and get the unit up and running. I've already had the unit running for 6-7 and working great. The electric start works every time and having the remote super great. After looking at several other units I decided on this one and I'm glad I did.
Gotta love the remote start
ElGatoOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review8/8/2024All you have to do is attach 2 wheels, 2 rubber blocks for feet and handle which takes 5 minutes. Add the oil which comes with the generator, connect battery and add gas or propane. This generator starts easy and ready to use. It’s powerful enough for all your needs including powering your home. This was a great purchase.
Easy To Setup & Start
FloridaGaryOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review7/14/2024I purchased this unit to replace a very basic 5 kW Coleman Powermate generator that I've had for over 25 years. The difference in technology is amazing - inverter quality power, dual fuel, remote start, control panel data display, etc. So far I've only run this generator to test it but it has already exceeded my expectations. I'm an electrical engineer and in my opinion the build quality appears to be excellent, and given its size the maneuverability has been surprisingly easy.
Great Inverter Generator
ElectricJGOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review10/17/2024I purchased this generator to replace and older open frame 10,000 watt unit and run my house as a backup generator when the power goes out. Does the job well and appears to run my sensitive electronics well also. With the old generator, my Computer UPS would not run and neither would my central air. With this one it runs well.
Great generator to run a house during a blackout
ThomasTrainOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review1/27/2025I bought this generator as a home back up and it’s proven to be a reliable, capable machine! Assembly was straight forward, it started with no issues out of the box and, after break in, I found it was able to provide stable power to critical circuits in my home. I’ve had no starting issues or power fluctuations. I’m confident I purchased to right power solution to run sensitive electronics during outages!
Great home back up generator!
D. J. B.Originally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review2/11/2024Boght this a few weeks ago as replacement for my CAT 5500. I wanted a quieter solution with enough power to run my 3 1/2 TON Home AC. I'm still running the break-in. But so far, I'm impressed. Setup was pretty easy and takes about 30 minutes or less.
So Far, So Good
