- 5 out of 5 stars review9/21/2024We just installed this at our 550 sqft. cabin, replacing a 13K commercial generator that was getting old. I’m so amazed at how silent this unit is. It has been running our cabin with no issue thus far, but will really need to test it over the coming months. I have high hopes!
So Quiet
DaneSOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review2/18/2025I purchased this generator to backfeed my panel during the next power outage. I selected this generator because it has the perfect requirements for just such needs; plenty of power, safe to use with sensitive electronics, dual fuel, 50a output, easy to store and move around, and it all comes at a fair price.
Everything I could ask for!
bob27692769Originally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review9/12/2024Picked up this generator after a bad storm hit our area really hard and left us without power for several days. Really liking the dual fuel option and plan to stick to using propane to run it. Haven't been able to ruggedly test it yet, but so far it has been a good purchase.
Great Generator for the Price
Rick3334Originally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review7/19/2024Houston was hit with Hurricane Beryl and I needed a bigger generator. This generator was so easy to operate and large to power almost my whole house (except HVAC). The plastic cover with no tool needed to removed was so convenience. I can wait to make more use of it on the next power outage.
Awesome Generator
JTHTXOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review1/24/2025Very happy with this generator, love how easy it is to move around, (I'm 6'2, 230lbs 54yo). Easy to set up and started right up, even with the pullcord. I had to use the pullcord because the battery died quickly; I cant be sure if I somehow left the power button on or if the battery is too small and does not hold up in the winter. For this reason, I purchased a small jumper box to keep inside the home where its warm, to give me peace of mind. But I would purchase again.
Starts right up
DocRXOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review6/11/2025Initially, this generator hit on everything it advertised. Easy to set up and get started. Inverter style is definitely the way to go with the quieter operation as well as a cleaner looking unit. Have not run it much yet, so still in the initial stages, but very happy thus far.
Easy, Clear, and Quiet Functionality
PickleJACOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review6/17/2025I live in Florida and wanted to be more prepared for potential weather threats (hurricanes). Upgraded from smaller non-inverter generator and installed a 50 amp power inlet box with an interlock on the main breaker so I no longer have to run extension cords for everything. Definitely a game changer! Great features on this generator and competitive price.
Great Inverter Generator
Capt. JohnOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review10/16/2024Generator started right up after putting in oil and gas. I have it hook up to my panel with a 50 amp breaker. More than enough power for what I need during power outage. Great Generator for the price and easy to use. The remote start and shut off the generator is really handy when is raining or cold outside. Plus it have a parallel hook up, which is great if I am to buy another one of the same brand I could double the power on it. Great Generator!!!
Great Generator for the Price and start right up!!
Jerry36Originally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review8/14/2024AFTER DOING DAYS OF RESEARCH OMLINE AND YOUTUBE I FINALLY MADE UP MY MIND ... THE MINIMAL ASSEMBLE WAS VERY EASY CAME WITH A SPECIAL SIZE BOTTLE OF OIL WITH THE EXACT AMOUNT WHICH IS SLIGHTLY OVER A QUART PUT EXACTLY 2 GALLONS OF GAS IN IT AND RAN 2 FANS ANS A FEW LIGHTS ON IT AT ROUGHLY 25% LOAD FOR 5.2 HOURS AND IT STILL HAS GAS IN IT IN FACT IT RAN OVER A HOUR AFTER THE GUAGE SAID IT WAS EMPTY AND IT NEVER RAN OUT NOT SURE HOW MUCH IS LEFT IN IT ... IT LITERALLY STARTED UP THE FIRST TIME AS IF IT HAD JUST BEEN TURNED OFF SO FAR IM AMAZED THIS IT MY FIRST GENERATOR IVE EVER BOUGHT AT 48 YEARS OLD LOL IM GOING TO RUN IT OUT OF FUEL IN A FEW DAYS AND STORE IT IN MY GARAGE HOOKED UP TO THE INCLUDED TRICKLE CHARGER AND WAIT FOR THE TIME TO ...
FINALLY GOT ONE
Originally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review11/6/2024Just pick it up, check it out really well, made sure everything was connected properly. I compared it with every name brand on the market and read a lot of reviews and watch lots of videos from different sources and over all this was the best choice for me. Have not had time to run or break it in yet, But I'm sure it will be just fine. Have a few more connections to make on power input to my house so I can test it out the way I plan to use it. Will update later if possible.
Very Nice Package
*CDA*Originally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review2/23/2025I recently bought this to be prepared for any upcoming power outages. My home is wired with a 50-amp plug, so all I needed to purchase was the correct power cord. I went ahead and did a test run—after turning on all the main outlets and lighting, including two fridges and a freezer, I was only at around 25% power draw. I even tested running the water heater with the well pump, and it only jumped up to about 70%. The Eco mode seems to work as advertised, and the generator adjusts its power output based on the load draw. Having used a traditional generator with extension cords before, this setup is much more efficient and runs significantly quieter. I plan to use propane primarily to avoid concerns about gas buildup in the system, especial...
A true power house
VirginiaChuckOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review6/9/2025I chose this one because 1) it is an inverter generator, safer for electronics; 2) is more quiet than most generators; 3) it uses either gasoline or LP gas; 4) it has 9000 running watts and 11000 peak watts; more than others at the same price; 5) it has a true 50 watt 14-50 NEMA output (not just 30 amp like many) that I will use to back-feed my electrical panel; 6) it has electric and remote start; 7) The sale price was $400 less than many other models with similar features; 8) It includes a very thorough owners manual and tools for attaching the wheels and handle. It also includes motor oil and funnel. So far, I'm very pleased.
It checks all the important boxes for me!
StalhandskeOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review7/1/2025The generator started right up on the first try. Went through the “break in” period as recommended without any issues. I am very pleased with this unit. Ready for the hurricanes that seem to be happening in Florida these days. Thank you Westinghouse!
Peace of Mind Restored
BrenInFLOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review5/10/2025This generator is the best out of 3 I have owned in my life . The duel fuel is such a bonus with out a doubt . Its easy to run and use as well as the small room it takes up for all it does. I did a lot of research and for the price it does the same as other generators do far a much greater price. Not to mention Westinghouse has been around since 1886 .
Westinghouse Generator
Powerhouse12Originally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review8/1/2024I bought this to use for home backup power and to run some power tools when working outdoors. A test run for home backup and it powered the circuits I ran to a transfer switch and so far there have not been and issues with operating a table saw and compound miter saw allowing me to setup shop where power isn't available. Push button start is a bonus.
Shipped with very little to do to get it operating
BobottsOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review3/27/2025Wanted a big whole house/emergency power inventor generator with low THD and this fit the bill. Doing the initial 5 hr break in now. For a big generator its pretty quiet, you can carry on a conversation near it and still be heard. Oil spigot will not thread into oil pan, small annoyance. Tires are on the small side, maybe an issue moving across yard or bare ground. Overall I think this will be a great emergency back up generator with enough power to run my whole house. Nickname = Big Blue.

Blue BiyOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review2/11/2024I just bought this igen11000DFc inverter generator. I'm very impressed with the quality. Came with everything needed to get it assembled and up and running. I paired the remote start to it and it fired up first shot. Ran it for 2 hours today. I need 3 more hours to complete break in. I was kind of surprised by the quietness of it. I thought it would be a little bit louder so that's a plus. I ran it on has today, next time I'll try propane. Overall great purchase and so far I'm very satisfied!
Excellent purchase
Mikec70Originally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review4/20/2025Received my igen11000 inverter generator couple weeks ago final got to test and break in, It runs everything in my house just on the 30 amp. Having a 50 amp receptacle installed. I have also ran gas as well as propane with no problem switching them over. I spent weeks researching The auto start is great. And my led lights work perfect no flickering like with my old generator The noise is great have it 20 feet from house still can hear, but my wife and I don't have to yell, raise volume on TV and pets are not freaking out. It is a good investment for living in florida where you don't know when power will go out My wife and I are very happy we got one and it works awesome
Very happy
Mnm242nflOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review2/4/2024Was going back and forth between a conventional and inverter generator and so glad I went with the inverter. Generator is super quiet and has a ton of power to run the house essentials when I need it to. Electric start is awesome and the low THD is awesome for my smaller electronics. Worth every penny in my opinion!
Works like a Charm!
Originally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review8/10/2024The product came with all the equipment necessary for installation, including the engine oil. Owners manual and instructions are clear, precise and easy to understand for a person that it’s not not that handy. Initial testing of the generator was successful and is easy to use.
Must have if you’re a homeowner
