I picked up my generator four days ago. Luckily, we did not have to use it just yet for a power outage. It was a simple, quick, set up to start which was great. My expectations were met with ease. I am satisfied with the purchase, and I would recommend the model.

I had the Westinghouse IGen 4500 for few years. That was super quiet and very reliable. I wanted to upgrade to 240 volts so I can run my well pump during outages. I decided to purchase another Westinghouse generator seeing that I had such great luck with the I-Gen 4500. I'm so glad I did. This i-Gen 8200 tfc is perfect for running my essential itemsbin my house. It's super quiet. extremely easy to start, manually or with the pushbutton remote. I added the included oil, filled it with the correct fresh gasoline, it started immediately without issues. I'm up to my 4th hour of the break in procedure. This is one smooth running generator. So happy I decided to stay with Westinghouse again.

Pretty easy set-up after unboxing. Design and quality appear to have been well thought out. Not crazy about the suitcase style/wagon handle for transport but also not planning on going hiking with it. Slight concern about reports of being unable to pull start if battery is dead but will find a way to make it work. Overall happy with the purchase.

It just arrived yesterday and the setup was easy, basically just adding oil and attaching two electrical connectors to each other. The generator's fit and finish were excellent. My only problem is that it wouldn't initially start on propane. I tried a number of times, but it just wouldn't turn over, so I put some gas in and it started right up. After running on gas for ten minutes, I shut it down and tried it on propane again and this time it started up and ran for another five minutes until I shut it down. I see others have also had this problem. Not a huge deal breaker, but they should get this sorted out. Otherwise, it seems like a great machine.

I bought this in January 2026. The unit has only run long enough to be connected to my house and confirm it works and power the generator panel. I am pleased with what I have seen so far, quieter than expected, remote start / stop works fine and generator started first time out of box and each subsequent time. Easy to unpack and set up. Ran it on LP max load about 5000w then auto disconnected, which what was expected . Comes with a good documentation package.

This generator has the best features in a portable package of any generator I have ever seen. The tri fuel combination is outstanding and allows me to use natural gas from my home as a backup fuel source. The inverter generator is very quiet and easy to use.

I couldn't be happier with my Westinghouse iGen8200TFc—it's easily one of the best investments I've made for reliable backup power. Right out of the gate, the tri-fuel capability is a game changer: being able to run on gasoline, propane, or natural gas gives unbeatable flexibility depending on supply and situation. What really sets this generator apart is its inverter technology, which produces clean, stable power with less than 3% total harmonic distortion—perfect for sensitive electronics like phones, laptops, and TVs without risking damage. The unit is notably quiet and fuel efficient, thanks to its smart Eco mode that adjusts engine speed to match the load, saving fuel and reducing noise even during long runtimes. It's built with thoughtful features you'll actually use: a digital LED data center that displays fuel level, running hours, voltage, and more, plus a remote electric start so you don't have to be right next to it every time you power up. The CO sensor and automatic shutdown give added peace of mind for safety during prolonged use. With robust power output capable of running essentials like AC, refrigerator, sump pump, and tools—even simultaneously—it's ideal for home backup, RV camping, job sites, or emergency preparedness. Overall, this generator combines performance, convenience, safety, and flexibility in a package that's hard to beat for the price. Highly recommended!

Just received the generator and wanted to get it registered. Have not run it yet. Unit was well packaged and in great shape. Looks to be very well made. Seems to be a great value money wise for a unit of this size. I did a lot of research before deciding on this particular generator, and it appears like it was a good decision. Anxious to try it out.

Recently bought htis generator after the threat of an ice storm in the area to power critical items in my home. The set up was very easy and just finished the break in period. Didn't need for the storm as we didn't lose power but have used around the house during break in with great success. Great product and recommend.

I purchased my generator 12 days ago and glad I did. We lost power during a major snow storm. It kept us from freezing when outside temperatures in the single digits And kept all my appliances running smoothly as well as lights and my well and furnace. I give this generator a thumbs up 👍.
