Last year during Mathew I borrowed a Honda generator from a friend and was really pleased with its performance and how quiet it was but when purchasing one this year I was not happy to see it sold for $999. Very, very happy with the Igen2500 and how much quieter and fuel efficient it is and I saved $300 over the Honda. I searched many brands and types of generators and am confident that I made the best choice.

Purchased in January, 2024. This is my first inverter generator. Chose this model because it is a dual fuel. I use this unit with propane only as I don't to transport gasoline. Unit came with propane hose, regulator, engine oil, and small tool kit. Operations manual was clear and assisted in becoming familiar with unit and its operation. Unit was easy to start and runs quietly. Will primarily use with travel trailer while camping but will be useful in the event of power outage at home.

I just got this a little over a week ago and can see what I've been missing. I love how light it is and how fast it starts,s up. seems to work well right out of the box. My friend likes it better than his Wen which is of the same size as mine, the only thing it needs is a cover for when its in the back of my truck. can,t wait to use it more.

Great product very well engineered every thing is very easy to get at . Very nice to have a oil funnel that works . This unit starts and runs very well , and nice and quiet . Perfict for my needs in the event the power should go out & for our camping needs its not heavy & very portable . Perfect little unit .

Bought to take camping with our R.V.- it runs great, is powerful enough to run the air conditioner or the microwave, is extremely quiet, and light enough to be very portable! My only complaint is that it seems to have a slight sputter while running- even with no load on it. That being said, it hasn't posed a problem yet!

I bought the igen 2500 to use for dry camping in my rv. Got it out of the box and set it up in minutes. First time took 3 or 4 pulls to start, but starts 1st or 2nd pull afterwards. Runs the microwave in my rv with ease. Unit is very quiet---my daughter and I stood by the unit as it was running and had a normal conversation. Very impressed thus far.

I mainly bought this because it was lighter in weight than the other generators. I wonder why they didn't put small wheels on the bottom. This generator came through for me during two power outages last week. The quick start sheet was helpful. I was able to power my frig/freezer, two fans, a tv, and a light. Reasonably quiet. Filling the oil is a pain with the funnel and the location. Also, why didn't the directions just say to poor the entire included bottle of oil in. The generator would occasionally shut off for no apparent reason. When it shuts off, nothing is lit up so you have no idea what the issue is. I couldn't find anything in the manual about what the lightening bolt with the percentages means. Way too many things to do to store or maintain this product. I will take it to a repair place for maintenance.

Purchased this last week due to an emergency power outage in our area. This was a lifesaver during that time, as it allowed us to run an air conditioner, some fans and my husband CPAP at the same time. Did not have to fill two frequently and was super easy to use throughout the process.

We bought this generator to take along to our football tailgate. It is a great little generator that easily runs our TV. It is also quiet so doesn't disturb our tailgate or others. We like the feature of being able to check gasoline level as well as power usage. I think this is going to be a great generator for the entire football season.

We bought this after hurricane Irma. For years and years I had resisted getting a generator due to the "in your face" statement of externalized costs that it represents for one's neighbors.
