Worked as it should right out of box

I bought this generator for our RV when we go dry camping. Received my generator added oil that was supplied, added gas and the generator started up after 5 pulls on the chord. I let it run for about 1/2 hour. Later I started it with one pull and attached our RV and it worked fine everything ran including the AC. The next day started with one pull hooked RV up and everything still ran fine. I haven't had it long enough to really give it a good work out but will be using it on the RV the next camping trip.

Quiet, lightweight, works as advertised.

Bought this after our last prolonged power outage, since it cost less than twice the 3-day rental for the same size generator. Instructions were clear and setup was easy. I only tried it on propane, because that's how I intend to power it. It's a bonus that it has a 30 amp outlet for RVs in the event we ever need to use it with the trailer.

Loved how quiet it is

I bought it recently and used it to keep refrigerator working during power outage. It's nice and small and at 77 years old, I can carry it where I need it. We have two children living in town and we share with whoever needs it. Again its quietness is important as we live in a condo association. I also like having the Eco mode although I didn't use it this time with the fridge, I'm looking forward to trying it on the proper load.

Just what I needed

I bought this as it seems any time the wind blows, our power goes out. As I'm now considered middle-aged, I've got the sleep equipment to prove it. Can't sleep without my CPAP. I don't want to worry about a battery backup. Now I can run my machine and a fan...I can hook up the refrigerator if needed, and can get through the night...or nights.

Easy to use

I bought this item and it took me less than 10 minutes from out of the box and ready to use. It started right up after the second pull. And did not have to pull that hard. Hooked it up to my trailer and could use the electric saw and portable electric heater I had on the inside. Really unexpe4cted nice feature was the panel with all the connectors was surounded by LED's. So easy to see in the dark.

Bought a 2nd One To Parallel

The first would run my 15k AC, but only on low fan and it was maxed out running at full RPM and was quite loud. I bought a 2nd one to parallel, now it handles the load easily, both units run at mid RPM and are significantly quieter. I was torn between the portability of 2 parallel 2k units vs 1 quieter 100 lb 4k unit. These are being used for my MX race trailer, so the noise should not be an issue. If I was buying for my camping trailer, I would definitely choose a 4k unit now. The people that rate this at quiet must only use at on Eco mode with low loads. It's not at all quiet maxed out. Just know what you are buying.

Paralleling works great

After firing up both iGen2500's in parallel, I Plugged in two 1500 watt heaters. Efficiency Mode switch's on. Both gens slightly rev'd up together with both gen's showing only 50% load. Only one small complaint, the threads on plastic Gas Cap were too tight on one of the generators. I think a little quality control was missed here. The cap should free spin all the way down till the last quarter turn then click tighten. This cap has too much friction from start to tight.

Inverter Gen i2550

I bought this generator after owning a Champion. I'm glad I did. This Westinghouse i2550 is so much quieter and lighter. We use it for our camper and it has worked out well so far. We have had it for a few months now and look forward to many years of service. It was also half price of the more expensive competitors which helped my pocketbook! I am pleased that it is just as quiet also.

Perfect dual fuel generator for RV use!

I bought this generator after research and a friends suggestion. Used it at a Rock the Country concert in Kentucky for a long weekend. We were in the no powered RV lot, and I bought this generator for that purpose (RV use). Worked like a charm! love the light weight, power output and most importantly, the dual fuel engine! I do not have to carry gas cans in my RV/truck when camping. The plan is actually to not even put gas in it. Used it all weekend on LP. Very quiet unit. Highly recommend this unit!!
