I purchased the 2550c for off grid camping at the beach. I found the inverter to be very accommodating and worked as expected. It starts on 2nd pull and sips gas. It will not run my 13500 RV A/C. And I am a little disappointed at that. I would recommend this product for camping. It's extremely quiet.

I purchased two IGEN2500 with the parallel cable as a multi-use backup power system. I can use these for powering tools while working on my boat, for camping, etc. The parallel system plugs right into my transfer switch when I need it. I spent a lot of time researching inverter generators before I settled on these. I'll update this review as I learn more.

Just purchased this after reading some great reviews, was more than happy with the results! Enough power to power everything in the camper including an an 8k BTU window air conditioning unit and barely using half of its full power. Easy start, easy carry and the economy mode is great to have, engine shifts down to a quiet purr

I just picked up this generator today. Upon trying to lift the box I thought it was heavy, but after getting it unpacked I found it was very easy to carry around. Set up was very easy, and the oil funnel that actually screws into the oil access is a great touch. It started right up and ran great! I am looking forward to a long useful life out of this equipment. It replaces a larger generator that was too heavy to move around.

My wife is a librarian. When I say she did some research before we selected this model, she did some RESEARCH. I would suggest googling inverter break in process before running for the first time. The provided booklet does not go in to great depth about this process. Once properly broken in, unit has been running smoothly without issue. Negatives-panel, drain plu plstic, feel flimsy.

I bought this inverter generator primarily for it's features---data display, 30 amp plug (although I am still limited to 1800 running watts), weight, and excellent reviews from previous buyers. Filled it with oil & gasoline last evening. Started fairly easily without much effort. Tried several power tools without a problem. The eco mode worked perfectly---the power tools barely increased the RPM's. The unit is exceptionally quiet. So far the IGen2550 has met all of my expectations. Very few of the small inverter generators I considered had a 30 amp RV outlet even though the unit is not capable of producing 30 amps. Also the LED data display is outstanding for a unit of this size. Very pleased with my purchase.

This is a very well put together piece of equipment. In my occupation I look for weaknesses and poor designs for improvement of equipment. This is a well thought out design and layout. Maintenance will be easy to perform due to the attention to detail. Followed instructions and started on the first pull. I expect many years of service from this unit as long as I perform the recommended maintenance. It is rare for me to say that I am extremely pleased with a mass produced product. I am extremely pleased with this one. My research indicated they also have a great customer service team in place to support the product. Thumbs up for making a product that is well thought out, well made, easy to service and good customer support. Home run with the bases loaded!

I just received this product a few days ago and so far so good. Well written manual and the unit appears to be fully serviceable. Oiled it up and it fired after the first few pulls the first start up and on the first pull thereafter. Looking forward to many years of use and at the product price point that's a great deal!
