Just unpacked this product after receiving it from UPS. Straightforward instructions and packaged with everything needed except fuel. The unit is lightweight and very portable. Access doors on sides make getting to engine much easier than my old Honda Eu2000. Pay attention to run/ choke/ off settings as choke is all the way at end of the 4 options, not before run setting. Unit is quiet and the led display is easy to read.

I bought the generator to run it on propane. Tried to start it for the first time and it started right up. However it only ran for 15 seconds and now won’t start again. I’ve started a ticket with Westinghouse and I will update this review if they can fix it so that it runs the way it’s supposed to propane.

I bought this Inverter Generator for our tailgating adventures and it did not disappoint. It provided more than enough power for a couple of crock pots and a TV on our first use. It was essentially whisper quiet unless you were right next to it, and then it was still below conversation levels of volume. It was easy to start and ran for over eight hours on one tank of fuel. Our tailgating group was very happy that we added this to our arsenal!

Working well so far, easy to setup, and arrived with enough engine oil to get started. I'll be using it to supplement a home back-up system and so I can charge batteries during adverse weather. The ability to use propane was a big deciding factor. I wish it tallied running hours but otherwise so far, so good.

I bought this unit to run an Airstream Basecamp when we are boondocking (microwave & AC, or to top off the batteries on a cloudy day). I am impressed with how quiet it is and it's portability. I also love that I don't have to haul gasoline around, I can just tap into the two propane tanks we carry for the trailer since its duel fuel!!

I have had two other genaraters before I purchased this one. First one I have ever had with duel fuel. It work really well with both fuel supplys when my power was out I ran out of gas I hooked my propane up to it and it never missed a beat best purchase ever

Was so glad to finally get this 2,200 running watt generator to use with our 5th wheel.I had already installed a Micro Air Easy Start on our 13,500 BTU air conditioner so I would not have to deal with my 3,500 watt generator weighting in at 114 pounds in the back of our truck. As soon as it got here I read the instructions, filled the oil, filled the gas and it started right up (on the second pull). Let it warm up for a few minutes then plugged in the 5th wheel.Then went inside and turned on the air and let it run for a hour and half. The generator never missed a beat it just kept cranking out the watts! Looking forward to some great boon docking this summer. Thanks Westinghouse for a great product.

My friend bought this for me, It is usually very easy to start. I have been having some problems with it to stay running. Nothing is plugged in when started but shuts off and the overload light comes on. I have done oil changes 1 a month. It worked great till this happened.

The iGen 2500 started right up. It was surprisingly easy and smooth to pull the cord. I did a one hour test run with a full size side by side refrigerator, one lamp, one box fan, a charging iPad, and a Mac all at the same time. I never saw it resister above 25% or so and all went well. Ran nice and quiet. In some cases the refrigerator could create a major but very brief surge in watts (maybe 1,800 at the most) that might require powering up and stabilizing it before connecting the rest. I don't think it would be a problem once the refrigerator is cooled down. This is what we ran with a borrowed generator during Irma and it helped a lot, no lost food and reasonable comfort sleeping. The only problem is the fuel gauge does not work but I fully expect Westinghouse to make that right. I also plan to use it for some camping.

Just purchased this generator, used for a full day and was impressed with how easy it was to setup and get started. The unit was nice and quiet, and uses very little gas. The manual is very detailed and easy to understand. My daughter bought one also and was able to get it up and running herself without any problems. I would recommend this for anybody not wanting to wrestle a large heavy unit.
