Westinghouse 2550 Watt Gas Powered Inverter Generator with Recoil Start and Quiet Technology

I bought this a month ago for tail gating and so far it is working great. Not as quiet as I thought, but it will get the job done.

This seems like a good generator but when mine was delivered I started it up but when I turned the switch to off it did not shut off.

Runs smooth but does not turn off

I needed a quiet generator for my cabin in the country, this thing is awesome !quiet efficient and made to last!!

Only a test run so far but the features are handy and the price was reasonable. Delivery was earlier than scheduled

This little guy is great and it does it's job

Use this at my camp and runs a 8000btu a/c unit for 7 hours. Also incredibly quiet.Starts up every time with 1 pull.

Never had a gas enerator before now just propane and let me tell you it's the best I wouldn't go back to any other one

Awesome product

Brand new out of the box. Followed all directions carefully. Want to use propane only. It will not start! Tried two different tanks... no luck.

Great generator for my needs. Everything needed is in the box, w exact amount of oil. Add gas and starts first pull. I got power!!!

Bought just this weekend. Ran thru its paces to break in. And has been a pretty quiet generator so far with no issues

We purchased this to help us manage power during our camping adventure.  We like the dimensions and weight.

I wanted to run with propane, but tried many times and with two tanks, reconnecting, choke, no choke it wouldn't start.  Gas didn't seem to be coming out of the regulator. 

So next I tried with gas and it ran easily.  Except it stops.  Usually after 15 minutes to 4 hours.  I've now spent about 2 days and 2 tanks of gas.  First it seemed to stop only with eco. Then normal mode stopped.  I tried running with a loose cap to make sure there wasn't a vacuum problem, etc. Sometimes the low oil light came on and the unit quit right away.  The tech advised that too much oil could also be a problem and it took about 4 tries and 3 spills to get the oil level which rested right in the middle of the dip stick.  Ran great for 3 hours then ...  I'm on hold with service right now seeing if I can get an exchange or repair.  Unfortunately I bought on line so return is not an option. 

I have a 10k westinghouse than ran my whole house for 7 days after a bad storm here. I was hoping for better.

Miserable experience and 2 days wasted so far

I purchased this generator in the event of losing power and needing something to run my sump pump off of. I was able to quickly this get unpackaged, follow directions to start and get what I needed to hooked up quickly.  Very straight forward use, runs well and easy to handle.
