Westinghouse 2550 Watt Gas Powered Inverter Generator with Recoil Start and Quiet Technology

Like the first one, bought a second one.  Weird this one came with a parallel cable.  Setup was straight forward.  So I saved a little on the cable.

Bought this for my Camper, I like that it has a 30 amp receptacle compatible with my plug. And great price for all the features.

Great features for the price

It started with one pull right out of the box!! I couldn't believe how quiet it was also, we could carry on a conversation without yelling!!

One pull!!

Easy to set up and use. Instructions are clear. Runs quiet. Starts easy. The duel fuel options are great. Good choice for our needs.

Solid piece of equipment

The generator worked fine for less than 2 months . Motor still runs but no electrical output. Wish the problem would be fixed

This is a great compact generator. Its equally comparable to my Honda 2000i. I would recommend it to anyone looking for this size generator.

Great portable generator!

We bought this to use when camping. It's so quiet and can power everything we need. Price was great. Overall very happy with this purchase.

Quiet inverter!

have not used yet  ,it came with a bad fitting gas cap,i understand i will be recieving a replacement.

gonna find out

Looks easy to set up and use. Instructions easy to understand. 
I'll be ready for the next storm and any extended power outages

As advertised

Clear instructions, hooked up to propane, one pull after choking it and it started. Impressed. Run quiet.

Easy start

I wanted to run with propane, but tried many times and with two tanks, reconnecting, choke, no choke it wouldn't start.  Gas didn't seem to be coming out of the regulator. 

So next I tried with gas and it ran easily.  Except it stops.  Usually after 15 minutes to 4 hours.  I've now spent about 2 days and 2 tanks of gas.  First it seemed to stop only with eco. Then normal mode stopped.  I tried running with a loose cap to make sure there wasn't a vacuum problem, etc. Sometimes the low oil light came on and the unit quit right away.  The tech advised that too much oil could also be a problem and it took about 4 tries and 3 spills to get the oil level which rested right in the middle of the dip stick.  Ran great for 3 hours then ...  I'm on hold with service right now seeing if I can get an exchange or repair.  Unfortunately I bought on line so return is not an option. 

I have a 10k westinghouse than ran my whole house for 7 days after a bad storm here. I was hoping for better.

Miserable experience and 2 days wasted so far

Purchased this generator a few days ago, currently working on the break in process. So far so good though, the maintenance panels are easy to remove and oil changes are a breeze. It fired up the second pull and now starts with ease on the first pull. It runs quiet, I can reasonably carry on a conversation within 5 feet of it not in Ecomode. Happy to say the least, would definitely recommend it.
