Westinghouse 2550 Watt Gas Powered Inverter Generator with Recoil Start and Quiet Technology

So far there has been no issues with my new generator and its very quiet when running at the peak wattage output, I'm impressed

This generator is exactly what I was looking for. Portable, quiet, great on fuel and powerful. Easy to maintenance and well built.

This generator is light weight, it can easily be carried. Also it runs very quiet so won't bother others around your camping area.

Starts every time on first pull

It doesn't seem to start as easy as you would think but after it starts runs very quiet and very good

Starts on the first pull every time. Runs really quiet. LED power and fuel gauges are handy. Unfortunately it cannot power my RV air conditioner.

This generator has all the features I wanted. It's lightweight, quiet, and provides all the power I need for my camp trailer. Very happy

Generator very easy to put into operation. Started on the first pull. Easily powers my Sprinter camper van RV air conditioner.

Easy to put into operation and start on first pull

I wanted to run with propane, but tried many times and with two tanks, reconnecting, choke, no choke it wouldn't start.  Gas didn't seem to be coming out of the regulator. 

So next I tried with gas and it ran easily.  Except it stops.  Usually after 15 minutes to 4 hours.  I've now spent about 2 days and 2 tanks of gas.  First it seemed to stop only with eco. Then normal mode stopped.  I tried running with a loose cap to make sure there wasn't a vacuum problem, etc. Sometimes the low oil light came on and the unit quit right away.  The tech advised that too much oil could also be a problem and it took about 4 tries and 3 spills to get the oil level which rested right in the middle of the dip stick.  Ran great for 3 hours then ...  I'm on hold with service right now seeing if I can get an exchange or repair.  Unfortunately I bought on line so return is not an option. 

I have a 10k westinghouse than ran my whole house for 7 days after a bad storm here. I was hoping for better.

Miserable experience and 2 days wasted so far

Purchased this generator a few days ago, currently working on the break in process. So far so good though, the maintenance panels are easy to remove and oil changes are a breeze. It fired up the second pull and now starts with ease on the first pull. It runs quiet, I can reasonably carry on a conversation within 5 feet of it not in Ecomode. Happy to say the least, would definitely recommend it.
