Better than solar

Bought this to camp on Ohio river. Had solar before but the panels would fry thousands of bugs a day and very unreliable. Tried wind but also unreliable plus it was a bird killer. Got the iGEN2550 and wow this baby packs a punch. This is so reliable and it sips good ole petroleum runs forever on a full tank of gas. I don't have to deal with fried bugs and dead birds anymore! I would absolutely buy again.

SWEET

I purchased two of these. One product runs top notch, spot on! The other one however.... Upon opening the box one of the cover screws fell out, (Part #100507 Screw M6x16) and I can not re-install. Would not start. I replaced the spark plug with a NGK plug and the motor fired right up. Engine stalled out and died after running 30 mins without any load. Repeated the same process while I was seasoning the engine. three times the engine died with less than 2 hrs run time total. I may have to contact the manufacturer if I can not resolve this.

Strong gen, Light and quiet

Was looking for a light weight gen to run my 13,500 A/C on my RV. I decided to install a Micro-air soft start kit and try the Igen2500. The gen started on the first pull and after running on light loads for a few hours, I tried the A/C. The Igen started and runs the A/C easily with power to spare. I then tested the 15,000 BTU A/C (which had no start kit) and was surprised to find that it also would start and run with reserve power. I live at an elevation of about 200' so I am waiting to see what a couple thousand feet in elevation will do to this test, but so far, I am well pleased. The tests were all done with the gen running in ECON mode.

The Generator that Could, Great Little Unit...!

I bought this unit to run an Airstream Basecamp when we are boondocking (microwave & AC, or to top off the batteries on a cloudy day). I am impressed with how quiet it is and it's portability. I also love that I don't have to haul gasoline around, I can just tap into the two propane tanks we carry for the trailer since its duel fuel!!

Surging and quitting too early to tell

I purchased this two months ago to get ready for this camping season. It just has to run my RV 13500 BTU AC and it does/did. As soon as it arrived in May I put it through its paces and all seemed fine. I put it up until a week before our July trip and got it out to run. After one hour, it started "hunting" around, surging, and then quitting. I checked oil, all good. I then put in a new NGK spark plug and it did start back up but a sputtering start. It ran again for about 30 minutes, started hunting, and quit. I started again and it ran fine for two hours and I put it away until today, same thing, hunting, surging, quitting. I need help, I'm counting on this generator for the next two and a half weeks camping. I need customer service. I hope this is something simple as I really like the overall value of this unit and very much want it to work out.

Amazing product, on for 8 hours with one gallon of fuel

I ordered this for my Dad in Puerto Rico who has been without power for a month. This unit was 54lbs in the original box and was easy to get on a plan. I poured in the oil, filled the gas tank and it started in two pulls. first pull on choke and second on run. Had enough power to run a 10K BTU AC, a fridge, a fan and some lights at 30% power usage which showed would give us 7.5 hour on the small fuel take. the energy mode is great and the displays are very helpful. This unit is very quite as I compared it to the 100's of other I've seen in the use during my week in the Hurricane ravaged island of Puerto Rico.

My best wishes came true after use.

Bought my igen 1500 c three months ago and never opened till I was going camping. It turned out to be a cold night and camping without any power. I used the heater not knowing it would use battery power. Woke up to no power at all, nervous about the generator I had to try . Followed start process and it started a few easy pulls later. Hooked up to the battery and after a couple of hours it was fully charged, a 400 watt hr. Battery.so quiet it was like a sleeping app. So happy with my choice so light my 70 year old wife carried it to put away. Would definitely recommend this to friends and family, you won't be disappointed

Best Portable Dual-Fuel Generator For 2024

CARB Certified. With its built-in versatility of dual-fuel at 1,800 running watts, and portability at under 40 LBS, this by itself is already a great consumer product. The fact that it also contained a 30-amp plug-in outlet, provided a practical option for any RV user staying off the grid. Good stuff; nicely designed all around!
