However, I loved the capacity of it and the 1200 watts of power it offered. Nice number of choices for what you choose to cook or perform. When my microwave went out I purchased the exact same one. It is quite a cabinet hog but I have ample space.

The first lasted 14 years before calling it quits, and I can depend on my new appliance to serve us dependably for many years to come. If, heaven forbids, we have a problem, the GE service center is pleasant and reliable to work with.

The only reason we bought the exact same model again is because we like the controls and the microwave fits perfectly in the space where we have it. We're giving it another chance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Owned a panisonic 13 years. 2.2, 1,250 watt, stainless steal. This is made to same quality in build, should last many years of use. To improve I would suggest a back lighted panel, no one has it, why? With all micro wave, they are left hinge. Our set up would benefit from right hinge like refrigerators. No one has one. The door release seems lite duty, time will tell. This is our 1st GE.

Great capacity, power, even cooking surface...very good product. Will probably purchase same exact model again in future!

I’m not real fond of child lock though the controls pad is simple to use. I believe it would hold and bake a turkey the capacity is amazing. Love the power it has.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was the best substitute for my previous GE 2.1 cu. ft microwave. Works great and the sensor function heats pretty well. Controls are identical to previous model as is the power levels. Though it doesn’t have an optional trim kit, was able to engineer the setup to work, and now it looks like it always has been here in my home.

The door button and the small digital display feel cheaper than my previous GE microwave JES2251SJ02 that lasted 14 years (the magnetron went). This one has a weird logic of setting up the power level, where Time Cook has to be set first and then the power… Also, on my previous model I could just punch the exact cooking time and start it, now I have to hit Time Cook first and then 2:37min for example. It’s a step backwards. What were your designers thinking!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I started out with a GE profile microwave which lasted for approximately 10+ years. Since I have a wall oven, this microwave is the only one which can fit into my existing trim kit! Unfortunately, the Trim kit is more expensive than the microwave, so not economical to replace it! This model only seems to last between 3-4 years , tops! It does do the job while it works.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The beverage heater overheats coffee. No way to adjust it that I can see. It looks good. It was hard to install, oddly the trim kit is not flush to the counter without large modifications to the counter, which we did not do.
