The first lasted 14 years before calling it quits, and I can depend on my new appliance to serve us dependably for many years to come. If, heaven forbids, we have a problem, the GE service center is pleasant and reliable to work with.

I absolutely love GE microwaves. My last microwave was purchased in 2008 and it just quit yesterday in 2026 so I'm extremely grateful that it is lasted that long especially as much use as it has received from my children using it everyday. I really love the capacity in the two cubic foot, it's large and it's perfect for my large family. The Sleek design also adds a little bit to my kitchen. Three sides are black with a chrome and black finished face it's really pretty and just enough to Accent the kitchen. Performance wides I think it holds up really well I haven't tried it for any thing longer than 18 minutes but it did extremely well last night. The controls on it it have quick buttons. I love the add 30 feature. That was one thing we were worried wouldn't be on the new one. Overall 5 star and highly recommend. Only downfall i found was the child lock and the durability of the actual push button for door.

This is a wonderful microwave oven --especially for elders. The child proofing was disabled and the oven is really easy to operate. This replaced a fairly new appliance that had the newer inverter technology (supposed to be energy saving). Every time that was used, any bluetooth and/or hearing aid connections would be disabled for the cooking time. This oven does not interrupt any signals. Lovely.

In June 2024, we purchased JES2051SN5SS - serial number VV201414L, a very similiar microwave. Recently the heating element went out on it so we purchased the above microwave. We were very disappointed in the previous microwave only lasting a year and a half but hope that the new one will be better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've already owned this same appliance. It lasted 9 years. I think that perhaps it should have lasted longer. However, I loved the capacity of it and the 1200 watts of power it offered. Nice number of choices for what you choose to cook or perform. When my microwave went out I purchased the exact same one. It is quite a cabinet hog but I have ample space.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just installed it as a built-in unit. It fit perfectly into my cabinet and onto my existing trim kit. Seems to work fine and has all of the features I will ever use. The child lock on the door is a feature I disabled, but is a good idea if little ones are around. When I bought this unit, two units in the store were damaged as people in the store were unaware of the door child lock feature and assumed the door lock was defective and eventually broke the door by trying to force the door lock open. When I got my new unit home, I easily disabled teh child lock and everything works fine

This a very good microwave for the price. Good room inside and good selection of heating options. The only concern is when it's not in use you can hear a low humming sound. I haven't followed up to see if this is normal, but my old one did not have that issue. The door open, button if you will, is a little awkward to use. It's kind of cheap but, again, I am comparing it with my old one, which the model was discontinued. I did purchase a two-year warranty just to be on the safe side.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace a peice of junk Toshiba microwave I had for 8 months when the magenent cracked. Don’t waste your money on one of those. This GE I bought I so far, I love!!! Wish me luck😀

Right now we have an expensive clock. A repairs out to check the microwave oven which was doing everything but heat the food. Of course it worked for him, but the minute he left, well, it would not work. We received a message on our landline that we would be getting an email in regards to rectifying this problem. However, no such email has arrived. Please advise. We bought this GE product based on a GE microwave we had for 34 years. This one made it just beyond 34 days.
