My husband and I really like our new GE microwave. I like the automatic time buttons and the little reminder ding if you don't take the product out right away. So many times I would get busy and forget I put coffee or etc in for warming up. Very helpful. Just a real nice addition to our kitchen. Thanks.

This is the second microwave I have had to purchase in 3 years. The button to open the last one quit working. I’m not particularly happy with GE appliances, but that’s what fits above my oven and I want it to look the same. I hope this one lasts longer

This is the second time I’ve bought this model. The one that just died this morning had a tag that said it was mfg.’d in 2009, so I would say we got our money’s worth in 17 years of daily use. Easy to use, control panel is super user-friendly. I considered a brand that had the inverter technology, which would have been the only reason to consider a switch, but in the end, the reliability of the GE model is what convinced me to stick with a tried and true unit. In fact, I seem to recall I had a GE before the one I just replaced.

So far so good. The size, price, and specifications are perfect for us. This microwave was closest to the one we replaced. That one lasted 19 years and we are hoping to get the same life out of this one.

This microwave gave much more than I expected. Best thing was the look on my grandson's face when he couldn't open it. LOL well played, GE. Child proof for the win!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just installed it as a built-in unit. It fit perfectly into my cabinet and onto my existing trim kit. Seems to work fine and has all of the features I will ever use. The child lock on the door is a feature I disabled, but is a good idea if little ones are around. When I bought this unit, two units in the store were damaged as people in the store were unaware of the door child lock feature and assumed the door lock was defective and eventually broke the door by trying to force the door lock open. When I got my new unit home, I easily disabled teh child lock and everything works fine

So far the microwave is working well, but the door/button operation is very poor. It is hard to push the button and the door doesn't open easily. Makes it seem like a cheap product despite the great electronic features. The settings work well and are user friendly but the microwave doesn't seem to heat evenly despite being brand new. Recessed turntable and "floor" seem to need cleaning more often than my last microwave. Overall average product.

This is the second GE microwave I have purchased. I replaced the same model. The new ones door sounds like it is rubbing, so I am concerned it will develop issues later on. We use the microwave many times during the day and are very happy with the results.

Excellent counter top microwave oven. Always had GE microwave ovens. Easy touch controls, new upgrade model with better display. You can disable child operation. White interior, with bright light, and not noisy. Will alert you when cooking is complete. You can also disarm beeping sound.

This a very good microwave for the price. Good room inside and good selection of heating options. The only concern is when it's not in use you can hear a low humming sound. I haven't followed up to see if this is normal, but my old one did not have that issue. The door open, button if you will, is a little awkward to use. It's kind of cheap but, again, I am comparing it with my old one, which the model was discontinued. I did purchase a two-year warranty just to be on the safe side.
