I couldn't believe that the new GE microwave fit exactly as the one I had previously. I hope this one is as reliable as the one I am replacing. It lasted 26 years. The frame I had for old on fits perfectly. This never happens when replacing an appliance. I didn't have to spend time looking for a replacement. Perfect for my use.

I had this same micowave for about 18 months. I loved it!! The heating element went out. Everything else worked great. You would've thought it was working. The fan, light, turntable and clock all worked and it sounded great. When the food was done it was COLD still. I went and bought this one and hope it does not quit that soon!

It is nice to see that you can still get a jumbo size microwave and still get a 1200 watt one from GE. The very large and max power ones seem to be very hard to come by anymore from anywhere else.

Product is awful. Inconsistent with setting cook times. Door has to be closed loudly to make contact to cook. Sometimes it operates flawlessly and others can’t get it to cook at all. Totally inconsistent. Would never buy this product again.

My husband and I really like our new GE microwave. I like the automatic time buttons and the little reminder ding if you don't take the product out right away. So many times I would get busy and forget I put coffee or etc in for warming up. Very helpful. Just a real nice addition to our kitchen. Thanks.

This is the second time I’ve bought this model. The one that just died this morning had a tag that said it was mfg.’d in 2009, so I would say we got our money’s worth in 17 years of daily use. Easy to use, control panel is super user-friendly. I considered a brand that had the inverter technology, which would have been the only reason to consider a switch, but in the end, the reliability of the GE model is what convinced me to stick with a tried and true unit. In fact, I seem to recall I had a GE before the one I just replaced.

Excellent counter top microwave oven. Always had GE microwave ovens. Easy touch controls, new upgrade model with better display. You can disable child operation. White interior, with bright light, and not noisy. Will alert you when cooking is complete. You can also disarm beeping sound.

The numerical keypad, which is used to set the time for microwaving/cooking, has already begun to show signs of wear, especially on the "0" keypad. I can only imagine what it will look like in six months, with holes where the keypad cover used to be. Purchased this microwave one month ago. (12/14/2025). I like for my microwave to look great as well as perform great. Unacceptable!

This a very good microwave for the price. Good room inside and good selection of heating options. The only concern is when it's not in use you can hear a low humming sound. I haven't followed up to see if this is normal, but my old one did not have that issue. The door open, button if you will, is a little awkward to use. It's kind of cheap but, again, I am comparing it with my old one, which the model was discontinued. I did purchase a two-year warranty just to be on the safe side.

This is the second microwave I have had to purchase in 3 years. The button to open the last one quit working. I’m not particularly happy with GE appliances, but that’s what fits above my oven and I want it to look the same. I hope this one lasts longer
