It is when I want to go to live channels or find them now but when I first plug the TV on and set it up and ignored live channels and I added an antenna and I had to use Gig to get the information on how to add them because we strength apps and I wanted to have access to local sporting events on network TV .

I have all samsung products and I wanted to put all their products in my home and the tvs were the last things I needed. And once they were in I can control the tvs from anywhere in the world. That is the unique quality that samsung has plus I can use them from my phone and even cast to them without any problems.

The picture is awesome 👌. It is very seamless with the picture. The brightness and contrast work great. The venue is easy to understand and use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I will say it's responsiveness is a little slow not to much but with everything this has it makes up for it. Brightness is awesome because the settings menu gives you a wide variety of different settings. Same thing goes with contrast it's awesome. I just switched from a I don't know maybe 25 inch monitor so this TV is a big and the movie upscaling is great it just feels like I'm watching on a mini movie theater screen and last uniformity is good to I haven't experienced any blurry pictures or dark cloudy spots.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is a very wonderful TV. The only problem I found with it was if you have something else hooked up to it the HDMi3 like a ROKU, have to set it back to the port every time which is a fairy big inconvenience.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good value for the money. The USB slideshow functionality is useful, but the slideshow interface needs an upgrade. I have never seen a Samsung remote control that I liked. Areas for Improvement: 1) A unified menu for slide (Data-USB) viewing. 2) Increase Transition speed between slides (it is jumpy and it seems the processor is not strong enough to handle the transition, even on a new TV!) 3) Additional slideshow features (display speed control, and extra display options) 4) The Remote. Just copy Apple.

We have to search for anything that we want to watch. The box did say that it has voice activation capability Hi, how are you good, but the remote does not offer it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Like all Samsung televisions, this one is reliable, but the screen image “disappears” when there is any light in the room. Great for dark or darkened room, but definitely not a good choice for a room with any sunlight whatsoever.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What in the world were you thinking when you eliminated the optical and RCA audio outputs on the Samsung 70" class U8000H UHD Crystal Series - 4K Smart TV Model UN70U8000HDXZA. I tried to use a HDMI arc audio extractor hooked to the HDMI arc output but found that the volume couldn't be controlled by my preferred remote supplied by Spectrum my provider. The so called smart remote supplied by Samsung is totally useless beyond turning TV on and off. I can't even figure out how to control the volume or change channels, other than that the picture is great the sound from the rear facing speakers is fair. My biggest problem is that the device that transmits audio to my hearing aids requires an optical or RCA input which you eliminated so I have to get sound from the optical out on my cable box which means I can't get hearing aid sound when using streaming apps which is why I bought this TV in the 1st place as my old TV couldn't support the streaming apps included in my Spectrum package. I thought Samsung made quality products and had I known of these shortcomings I would never have purchased this TV. Bring back the audio outputs most people use and supply a usable dumb remote I'm extremely disappointed in this product
